Wonderful ski weekend!

We had a great stay in Ludlow. The house was perfect for our group and so close to everything we want to do and see! Amy was also super accommodating when the weather was not cooperating for skiing! We will definitely be back!

Ski weekend

We stayed three nights for a ski weekend. The property was in great condition and there was plenty of space for our party. It was nice to have two different entertaining spaces. We definitely recommend the property.

Even bigger in person

Had a great time. We had a total of 15 people and were a little worried it might be a tight fit but there was plenty of room. The house is even bigger and more spacious than it looks. Host was great and location is walkable to the shuttle for skiing (weekends only). Would come back!

Skiing vacation

The property was as described. We had 9 adults and plenty of room. The house was extremely well stocked. The kitchen is a delight yo cook in and enjoy large family meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and games.Hope to return next year.

Great Place for Our Group

The place was great and so was the host. The middle floor, we called it the pub, had a great atmosphere with the fireplace, arcade game, shuffle board and high top tables. The group spent a lot of time there. The huge windows looking out at the stream were great. Lots of wood for the fireplaces. Even with lots of use in 20 degree weather, the hot tub stayed hot.Everything was as expected or better!Thanks

Great Location & Set Up!

We spent a long weekend in Ludlow with our best friends and family. Plenty of space for our group of 9 adults and 4 kids. The kids loved the bar/game room! The location was perfect - a quick 3-5 minute drive to Okemo. We didn't try the bus but will next time to avoid weekend parking at the mountain. We hope to book again soon! Thank you!

Beautiful house and great location

We had a lovely stay, and we would certainly return again. The location was great and allowed for many walkable options for our non-skiers.Amy was so helpful in communicating information prior to, and as needed during our visit. We were concerned about parking, but we succeeded in parking 4 vehicles with one behind another.The renovation was great and provided lots of extra space off of the kitchen for eating and playing games. We also liked that there were two big entertainment areas, one on each of the top two floors. This allowed us to space out when desired. This place was great for a large group.

Great house for a large group

We loved the proximity of the house to Main St with it's convenience to food and shopping while the river offered a tranquil view when relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub. The main floor was a hit with the shuffleboard as well as tables and seating for games and watching tv. The portable ac unit was a welcome addition to the upstairs bedroom, another in the upstairs living/dining area would have been great on the hot evenings, but fortunately we had to the option to cool down on the main level. Blackout curtians would have been nice in the street-facing bedrooms as the street lights really did their job. We loved the houses amenities and weren't looking for anything fancy but a little more attention to cobwebs and overall cleaning would have made the stay a bit more relaxing.

Great location

The house is very spacious and with the the floors everyone can spread out when they wanted. We had one or two minor issues, Amy responded immediately, and made sure we were happy and satisfied and we were. The house is a short walk to the supermarket, pharmacy, and about a dozen bars and restaurants. We would definitely come here again.

First appearance is everything. Nice property close to downtown Ludlow, everything within walking distance. However just a few things would make the first appearance more positive. Carpets need cleaned, dust the hardwood floors, lots of dust and dirt on the beams, and the interior wood trim appears water stained. A little elbow grease would go a long way. Christmas decor is partially up, like it stays up all year long. DJs, Stemwinder and Seesaw were 3 great restaurants!

Great guys golf weekend

Great property for a get together with friends. Clean with lots of entertainment options. Hot tub was in tip top shape, and the shuffle board table was a big hit. Easy walk to all of our favorite places in Ludlow.

Fantastic rental house

We loved our rental experience. First off, the owner was great to work with. She was very responsive and very helpful. The house was great. It was within walking distance to restaurants, a supermarket and a beer store. The general location is minutes from Okemo and some great swimming and hiking spots. The house was clean. There were plenty of cooking supplies. There were plenty of blankets, sheets and towels. Everything was super clean. The hot tub worked great. The porch and firepit were pleasant for relaxing. The pub was great for hanging out and family games. We loved it all!

River house

Went to Ludlow for my fiancé’s birthday to do some skiing. We had a large group 18adults which sounds crazy but this house fit us all comfortably. This house is in a great location walking distance to bars/restaurants/grocery store/Dunkin. It is pet friendly just know there isn’t much of a yard for your dog. Have to go for walks to do their business, which worked fine since the road the house is on was super quite. Also the house had carpet stairs which made our pup very happy; she bounced around up and down all the levels with ease; which made up for not having a yard area to play in. The kitchen was well equipped, it was easy to cook in, we were able to make two large meals for the whole group with ease. Hot tub was SUPER clean! Bar in the house was awesome, house had fun games. Beds were clean and comfortable even the futons! Can’t say enough good things.

Wonderful stay!

Our family rented the house for 4 nights over Christmas week, and it suited our needs perfectly. It could NOT be more convenient to everything, especially the shuttle route to Okemo, which is literally steps away from the front door. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. The hot tub was spotless and we used it many times. We loved the layout of the home, and the view of Okemo out the living room window was an unexpected bonus. Communication with the owner was terrific and we had a WONDERFUL stay!

Comfortable for a large group

The outside view of the house may deceive you, but the interior is really nice. Lots of amenities, seems recently renovated and a warm feeling overall. We stayed there with a large group and never felt crammed in fact there are multiple group areas to hang in. The appliances and Jacuzzi in top shape.

Great house for a large group!

We had 3 families with 11 kids. Plenty of space, pub room was great to keep children occupied. House was convenient to shuttle to mountain for skiing and near by restaurants. Owner very responsive. Great stay all around.

We enjoyed the river house with two families ( 4 adults and 5 kids) It was perfect for our group. Could easily have fit in twice the group if needed. Very close to town and easy drive to the ski hill.

Perfect House for our Ski Trip!

The River House was just perfect for our large group's annual ski trip!! The location was fantastic - the house is literally a hop, skip and a jump away from the Clocktower Base of Okemo mountain (3 minute car ride)! And because the house is right in town, getting to restaurants, bars, or convenience stores was a piece of cake. There is also Totem Pole Ski Shop right down the road , so you can rent skis for cheaper than you would pay on the mountain. As far as the house itself, the common areas had a ton of space and seating available for everyone, which was a huge plus for the older members of our group. There are two TV's in the saloon, so you can watch two shows/sports events at once, all while playing shuffleboard or arcade games!! The house's SONOS system is fantastic and a breeze to work - and I loved that there was a speaker by the outdoor hot tub too!! The bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and hot tub are all updated and were clean and tidy upon our arrival. The layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms ensures that everyone has access to a full bath on their level - another huge plus for the older members of our group. The loft was a great place for the kids to hang out and sleep. Lastly, Amy (the owner) was fantastic to work with. She was really helpful in making recommendations about restaurants and what to bring with us for our trip. Every step of the process was made easier by having Amy as my guide. If we come back to Okemo to ski again, we will definitely be staying in the River House (or one of Amy's other rentals) again!

We have another home in Ludlow and a property in Mt. Holly but this home has always been one of our favorites. When it went up for foreclosure after our friend Rob passed, we just had to try for it. This season we took his vision even further by enclosing the side porch to add a dining area.

This home is on the river in the center of town just steps from the shuttle and all Ludlow has to offer. The amazing views and the new hot tub location make this home absolutely unique! Originally an old mill, the home has seen many renovations. A standout feature is that it's an "upside down" house; the main kitchen, dining and living room are on the top floor. This layout offers tremendous views of town, the river and the mountain.
