Deer, Peace & Tranquility

The Deer greeted us every morning and every evening when we walked out back. The property is huge and the kids loved the cows next door. All of the neighbors, Deer & Cow family, were very nice and quiet. This is a great property and the owners are very responsive. We will be returning in the future.

Lovely House and Town.

The house is very nice, spacious and inviting. We were 2 couples, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The town is very charming with antiques shops and restaurants. The Great Outdoor Restaurant was the best. Try their clam chouder soup. Mama mia!!!!, delicious!!!!. The Blue spring was awesome, not too many people, water was blue and crystal clear, a great way to spend the day. Poe Spring was very nice as well. There is constrcuction happening up the street, very loud, jack hammering and dump trucks noise. They start early at 7:00 am, it distracted us from the peace we were seeking. Things to improve: chairs around the fire pit need replacing, they are brittle, and old , my friend sat on one and it broke, luckily he didnd hurt himself we placed it inside the garage. Needs more utensils, folks and spoons, needs more glasses, fans need cleaning. The handle in the toilet bathroom in the hallway is broken you need to jiggle it for the water to stop running. Windows are very dirty. The table ouside withe the 4 chairs we had to clean it was super. dirty. I think with some minor little touches this house could be awesome. We enjoyed our stay very much , we wished we could have been told about the ongoing construction and the noise that kept us from enjoying nature as it was very loud when we were sitting out by the front porch.

Relaxing Getaway

This is our second stay here and we will be back again. We love to get away from the city and enjoy peace and quiet. We love watching the cows have their daily walk to dinner. The main street in town has cute antique shops, restaurants to enjoy, and the people are always friendly. Haven’t checked out the springs yet but maybe next time.

Secluded and peaceful

We stayed for 4 nights so we could attend the Gatornationals. The home was perfect for us. Off the beaten path and further than we wanted but it was well worth it! Plenty of space and sleeping accommodations. Cooking, relaxing, Grilling…… just like being at home! We’d definitely stay here again! Thanks Jessica!!!

Ranch country

Roomy comfortable home in the ranch country. We came to ride our gravel bikes on the dirtroads in the county and at Mallory Swamp. Great riding and super nice to comeback to this house to relax and cook. Great location to enjoy Ginnie Springs, Gilchrist and Ichetucknee Springs parks too.
