La Poza is a boutique condo facility located in the heart of downtown Isla Mujeres. La Poza is a six-story building with an elevator and a shared rooftop with a spectacular infinity pool with 360-degree views. This design positions you in the convenient heart of downtown while keeping the bustle at bay while you sunbathe from our rooftop pool. If you are interested in renting more than one condo, please let us know. We have multiple one and two-bedroom condos located in La Poza.

This modernly designed, third-floor, two-bedroom condo is the perfect choice for your vacation to Isla Mujeres. With La Poza's ideal and peaceful location, in the heart of downtown, convenience is on your doorstep!

Enjoy your airy and modern air-conditioned, spacious living area with a comfortable sofa. Indulge in this tranquil and quiet escape in the center of all the action on Isla Mujeres. Open your large, glass patio doors from your living area and start your day in paradise with breakfast and a coffee from your balcony or from our ocean view rooftop pool.

At La Poza, you are located just steps away from the main pedestrian street, Avenida Hidalgo, lined with vibrant bars, delicious restaurants, street cafes, and shops. This awesome location also places you only a block and a half from the soft white sand and turquoise blue waters of Playa Norte, one of the top ten beaches in the world.

From here, you can spend your days exploring paradise, relaxing with a cocktail and your toes in the sand on the beach, or wandering around the shops looking for the perfect souvenirs to take back with you.

When you have finished exploring and soaking up the glorious Mexican sun, you can cool down in your spacious, modernly designed living area. Read a book from your spacious balcony or from your ocean view rooftop, or watch a movie from one of the three Smart TVs.

The entertainment system in your living area, also has speakers for you to listen to music from whilst you are preparing something delicious in the large, fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen comes complete with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes, and utensils and a large breakfast bar that can seat 4 people.

Or if you are in need of a siesta, choose from one of the two delightfully comfortable beds available. The master bedroom comes with a king bed, closet space, and a small street view patio. You can also relax here and watch Netflix on your Smart TV. Wash the salt from your hair and the sand from your feet in your large walk-in shower in the ensuite bathroom.

The pleasant second bedroom has two twin beds that can be turned into a king bed upon request. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans and come complete with linens and towels. The guest bathroom also comes with a large walk-in shower.

La Poza has friendly 24-hour reception, which helps add a nice sense of security to your vacation.

Long weekend fun

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful property. The location is perfect, close to everything so you can walk everywhere. The property is modern and beautiful. Alex was great to work with and was available for any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again :)

“Paradise” Isla Mujeres

This island never disappoints and this location was convenient, clean and new. Pictures were very accurate. We were able to walk to and from the beautiful North beach daily and since this location was right in the mix of authentic cuisine and fun nightlife it was easy to enjoy our trip without a lot of driving. The host Alex was friendly, accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again!

Pristine property and great location

The condo is well maintained and clean with a huge outdoor space with plenty of seating. The location is walkable to the beach, food of choice, bars and shopping.The reason for the 4 star on accuracy of online listing is the “sofa bed” is a couch and not a sofa sleeper. Alex the property manager is very responsive and helpful.

The property was great. It was very nice, new, and clean. The rooftop pool was amazing when you wanted to chill without going to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful when they could be. The only draw back for us was depending on the night the road/business noise could get pretty loud. They did give us ear plugs and that helped a lot. Overall great place.

Family Vacation

LaPoza Condos is amazing! The interior space is thoughtfully designed and very modern. Lots of storage and shelving for clothing and toiletries, which I like to take out of my suitcase to stay organized. Spacious living area and kitchen. The kids had their own bathroom. Everything was spotless when we arrived. AC is very cold. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms and living area. Clean drinking water is provided. The location is excellent! Near everything. Los Burritos is steps away - highly recommend for authentic local food. The market is also right across the street where you can purchase fresh fruit and juices. Playa Norte - you are just a few blocks away. The most beautiful water for swimming and relaxing. Just be aware of one thing, which didn't bother me at all. But my cousins who were staying at Ixchel Beach Hotel came over and commented negatively about the view from the 4th floor balcony. The building across the street is amassing on its roof various equipment pieces which makes it look a little bit like a junkyard. This is obviously out of the control of LaPoza, but it's helpful to know in order to temper expectations of the view. I would stay at LaPoza again in a heartbeat.

Would definitely stay here again

My mother and I stayed in this 2 bedroom unit and had plenty of room. Alejandro was easy to connect with via WhatsApp, friendly and responsive when we had questions. He met us at check in to show us around and give us the key. There was plenty of bottled water and a nicely stocked kitchen (plates, glasses, silverware, can opener, pans, etc). There were plenty of bath towels, plus four beach towels. The balcony was great for drying our wet towels/swimsuits. The rooftop pool was fabulous! We had it all to ourselves most of the time and used it daily. The location is very convenient. Easy walk to Playa Norte, Playa Media Luna (great place to look for shells and sea glass) and the start of the malecon (walkway along the Caribbean side). The Mercado is right next door, there is a great little coffee shop downstairs. The best taco cart (Tacos Salsa, try it!) is right down the street. The only con is the main bedroom faces a busy street with a bar across the way that plays loud music at night. They did provide ear plugs in case they were needed to sleep, but I was able to sleep with the white noise app going on my phone. Noise wasn’t an issue in the other bedroom.
