Nice get a way at a reasonable price

The only issue was the pool was much smaller than the pictures and the pump wasn't running so we didn't really use it. It was great for what we needed it for and the host was very responsive.

Great experience

I really enjoyed my stay in Lake Placid. The house was clean and comfortable, Chloe the owner was great to work with and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely home

The home was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the pool, everything was clean and seemed updated recently (modern bathrooms & kitchen). Very easy to get to and close to lake.

Wonderful Home with a pool and on canal

We have stayed at this home numerous times, this is our go to home when visiting Lake Placid. Home has everything you need for your stay, kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of towels, and comfortable beds.There is an inground pool and home sits on the canal. Neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Chloe is wonderful to work with. Check in and Check out is very easy, home has a lockbox for access.

Everything we needed and just the right place

Great little place with super comfortable accommodations. Very clean. One small hiccup at check inbut the host literally took care of it in under 2 minutes. Very responsive and great communication. Will definitely make this my place when I come back.

We have stayed at this home numerous times and will continue to come back while in the Lake Placid area. Homeowner is very easy to communicate with. Home has everything you need for your stay. It has a nice sitting area with an inground pool and sits on a canal with a dock. This home is our go to home in Lake Placid and we will continue to rent this home.

We have rented this home numerous times, this is our go to home when we visit Lake Placid. Chloe the owner is very easy to work with. This home is just as described on the listing. Home sits on a canal with a dock, has an inground pool, home is comfortable, has everything you need for your stay. Neighborhood is very safe, and all the neighbors are very nice and friendly. This is our home away from home :)

Beautiful Home in a Quiet Neighborhood

We have stayed in this home numerous times while staying in Lake Placid. This is our go to home if its available. Home has everything you need, kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable. Home is clean. We feel like we are at home in this house. Home sits on a canal with a dock and has an inground pool as a bonus :)

The location was the best part of this home. We felt that a smoker stayed before so you could smell that. The breaker was off for half the house so we had to do turn it on no issues but then the hot water didn’t work and had to figure that out. There were fire ants all over the backyard which stunk because we loved fishing in the canal but got bit a few times. The biggest issue was hidden fees, we booked this house because of a discounted price but then they came back middle of our stay requesting more money due to more guest which was confusing because we booked 4 people and the house held for people. It was a money grab and just makes me not want to book again due the hidden fees. Feel scam-ish.

Beautiful Home with a pool on the canal

This home is just as described. This is our go to home every time we are in the Lake Placid Area. It is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. It is in a nice quiet friendly neighborhood. Home has an inground pool and a nice sitting area on the back porch that is covered and screened in. Owner is very nice and communicates very well. Home has easy check in and out process. There is a keypad on the front door. This is our home away from home :)

Wonderful House in Quiet Neighborhood

We stayed at this house for 8 nights. House is just as described on listing. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything you needed to prepare and cook a meal. Neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. Saw lots of wild life around the canal behind the house. Pool was a awesome bonus. Chloe was there for any questions. Check in and out was very easy. We will for sure stay at this home again when we are in the area.

only 2 issues, 1. did not realize the hot water tank was shut off until I got into the shower. wrapped in a towel, I found the turned off switch and turned it back on. 2. every day when we left in the morning, we were greeted with an irrigation shower while trying to get to our cars. Other than that we liked the unit and would consider staying again.

Nice home, well kept. Clean and comfortable.

I did not give a final 5 stars as this is the first home we have rented that did not have soap/shampoo in the bathrooms. It did not state it would not have it either and being we were there for a race, we were looking forward to a nice shower with SOAP. Other than that, all was as stated. Thank you.

Mini vacation

We really loved the area and the house. The property does need some TLC. The pool has a leak, but it was too cold to swim anyway. We messaged the host but did not get a reply. The instructions in the book need to be updated as I am not constantly checking my email and we received some instructions a little too late via email The pool Lanai is full of spiders and the screen doors do not latch properly. The sprinklers come on every morning and really need to be adjusted. Most of the water just hits the pool cage and at least 3 of them do not even spray.

It would have gotten more stars, but needs some TLC. Inside needs a new coat of paint. The pool was cold the whole time I was there, because of a leak water had to keep being added to it. Speaking of water (stinks Luke sulfur) I smelled worse when I got if of the shower than when I got in. The owner did put in a new water system while I was there, but still stunk. Overall the place is fine if you want to be stuck in the 80’s. Lastly the House was not clean when I got there. Both bathrooms had hair in the shower and dead bugs. Plus I forgot an my tablet there and the owner is too busy to ship it to me.

Nice Home with pool on a canal

This is our second time we have stayed in this home. Home is in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything. The home is fully stocked with what you need, has a nice covered screened in back porch and pool. It sits on a canal that can be used for kayaking and fishing. Home is very clean, we noticed within the last year since our last stay Chloe has done some updating and changing some furniture. You can tell she cares about her home. She is very easy to work with and always responds quickly. We will for sure be back at this home again :)
