Cozy and comfortable cabin in Nantahala National Forest. This is a gated community conveniently located just 2 miles from Nantahala River; shopping; NOC; hiking and many other outdoor activities. Cabin is situated on 4 acres. We are close to the NOC white water rafting drop site, Andrews, Bryson City, and a variety of fishing sites.

Perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples travelling/hiking. We also have a futon which can sleep an additional guest or two (loft/open area).

My wife and I visited the cabin for an extended long weekend. Everything about the stay was perfect for our needs. Communication with Diane was outstanding and the location was perfect for the hiking and fly fishing we came for. The cabin itself is extremely comfortable and well stocked. We couldn’t use the fire pit because of a burn ban due to dry weather, but we really enjoyed having our evening drinks on the large deck. We will definitely be back!

I'm never going home. The owner was wonderful and very communicative throughout the whole process. The cabin itself is perfectly equipt for it's size with ample linens, cookware, glasses, etc. But the real magic happens outside. From the loft bedroom bedroom you awake to beautiful trees and mountains from the panoramic windows. I spent 95% of my time outside on the porch. The mini propane fire pit was perfect for chilly mornings and evenings. I spent my mornings reading on the porch while my husband lived out his motorcycle dreams riding the Tail of the Dragon, Chatuge Loop, Blue Ridge Parkway, and so many more. Nantahala Mountain Resort has a little gazebo, community grill, and stream that runs the length of the community, perfect for popping up a picnic or enjoying some more green space. This cabin was absolutely perfect and filled my cup and soul in ways I never knew I needed, I wish I had another week...PS. Our Apple Maps wouldn't register the address for some reason but Google Maps had no issue so would recommend downloading the route from Google Maps before you get into the gorge and resort.

We have been a Vrbo owners since 2018. We have a vacation rental property on Lake Nantahala and we decided to purchase this cozy cabin to expand our rental offerings in Nantahala. This property offers a different experience than the lake since we are close to Nantahala River, the NOC and lots of fishing sites. I love connecting with families seeking comfortable rental properties for their vacations. I have earned a "Premiere Host" status with Vrbo on our lake house and I hope to achieve the same honor on our little cabin.

We have 4 acres in a quiet community near the Nantahala River. Our neighbors are friendly and look out for one another. It is a rather remote and quiet neighborhood and offers tranquility and comfort, while still being very close to several outdoor activites.

We have worked very hard to make our cozy cabin in the woods comfortable. We put ourselves in our "guests' shoes" and try to anticipate what travellers would want. Our attention to this detail and comfort being our #1 priority is something that is very important to us.
