Hillside Hideaway - Beautiful cabin with indoor pool, fire pit, outdoor fireplace, EV charger, and pool table, and close to it all - just 5 minutes to Lodestone Golf Course, 10 minutes to Wisp Ski Resort and 20 minutes to Deep Creek Lake State Park.

BEDDING: Unlike many of the vacation homes in the area, we wash all of the bedding between each guest. We do it (even though it cost us more money) because we think it’s just the right thing to do.

The Entire cabin is yours! Please note that any locked closet contains our personal items.

Quite and serene area. There are no street lights so when you look up at the stars on a clear night it’ll take your breath away.

You’ll have a very long drive way (that can fit most boats/RVs) and there is enough parking for 6 cars.

*Must sign rental agreement within 48 hours of booking (its required by my insurance company).
* Cell service is spotty on the mountain, we highly recommend downloading the maps of the area for offline use prior to travel, just in case service is lost. We have a landline telephone in the kitchen for your use.
*Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am.
*We supply you with 3 toilet paper rolls per bathroom, 2 paper towel rolls, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, coffee, tea, olive oil, aluminum foil, salt, pepper, and spices.
*The hot tub can take a few hours to heat up so please plan accordingly when using.
*We recommend having 4WD, AWD, or snow chains during the Winter months.
*You will likely see and hear wildlife. If you see a bear, wild turkey, deer, fox, or other wildlife during your stay do not feed it or get close to it.
*Do not leave food in your car or outside and always lock the doors. Bears know how to open your car.
*No refunds will be given for inclement weather, so please purchase trip insurance and plan accordingly, including being prepared with food and all-wheel drive.
*Use the bunk beds, pool, and hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK. Please follow all posted pool and hot tub safety rules. Please DO NOT climb on or jump off of the large rocks on our property.
*Extra trash that will not fit in the trash cans inside the home has to be taken to the community bear safe trash cans around the corner.
*If you have an EV, you must bring your own charging cord.

We had such a wonderful time at this house - it was above and beyond what we were expecting. It was beautiful, clean and had so many amenities (all the kitchen tools we could possibly want to cook). We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at this property. The house was incredibly spacious and beautifully appointed—far beyond what we expected. We even packed extra items “just in case,” but we didn’t need any of them because the home had everything we could possibly need and more.The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the kids and grandkids, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out comfortably. Communication with the host was exceptional, even throughout the holiday weekend, which we truly appreciated.Checkout was simple and stress-free. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend both the home and the host. We would absolutely stay here again.

Family Celebration

Everything was perfect. My 9 grandkids swam three times a day. My kids (their parents) did all the cooking and cleanup, also lifeguarding. Western Maryland was new for all of us. Being from Michigan and the Great Lakes, we stepped out of our comfort zone and loved the Deep Creek Lake area. This house will definitely be in future consideration.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and easy stay. We loved looking out the windows and spotting deer nearly every time—such a calming and beautiful view!The location was also ideal and was just a short drive to all the major attractions in Deep Creek. Great place in the hills above the lake

My entire family of 12 really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everyone. We spent a lot of time outside using the hot tub, firepit and the back deck overlooking the woods. The fireplace and TV on the deck was a bonus. The indoor pool was fun for the kids. The kitchen had everything and was well stocked. The EV charger was also nice. We would easily stay here again - might have to try it out in the winter. It was close to all of the fun things to do in the lake area.

Amazing home

We had a wonderful time at the house. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The house was very convenient for our group and could also accommodate more of our family maybe at a later date. The house is in a great location. We appreciated being able to check in early. Even in daylight it was hard to see the house number. All in all it was a wonderful experience! Thank you.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and everything was in perfect working condition — you could tell the hosts take great pride in the property. We had 11 people stay, including kids, and the space was more than sufficient and very comfortable for our whole group.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, which made a big difference for a large family stay. From utensils and pots and pans to appliances, everything we needed was there and thoughtfully organized — truly one of the best-equipped kitchens we’ve experienced in a rental.The location is incredibly scenic, surrounded by nature with lots of wildlife — we even saw deer right in the yard! The beautiful snowfall made the setting feel magical, and the large windows allowed us to bring the snowy woodland views indoors while we snuggled up by the fireplaces. Beautiful home

This was a wonderful property. I have stayed in over a dozen VRBOs in the US and internationally over the last 10 years, and this was one of my favorites. The listing was accurate. The place was immaculate. Communication was easy and prompt. We had 10 people at the home and everyone had their space, yet there was room for everyone at the dinner table and in the living room when we wanted to be together. Also, the checkout process was very easy. Compared to the task lists I have seen at other places, the process here was very simple. It made packing up to leave a lot less difficult. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Absolutely amazing property!!

This was the perfect property for our family vacation that included eight adults and five teenagers. Located close to everything that Deep Creek Lake offers yet secluded enough to enjoy tranquil mountain feel. We found the home to be immaculate, well stocked and exactly as described in the listing. Our family really enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, covered deck with a gas fireplace and TV, the firepit with eight Adirondack chairs, large well stocked kitchen and so much more! The living space was large enough to easily accommodate our family and felt very comfortable. Kayla, the owner, was ultra responsive with a few very minor issues we encountered. In particular, we had a TV that wasn't working in a bedroom and she had Jose come out in a few hours and replaced it. He was so nice, respectful and interested in making our stay the best that it could be. If you're looking for the perfect place to celebrate, vacation or just get away, this is it!!!
