The apartment was spacious, clean, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed. Communication was excellent. The only thing that was a bit of an issue was that the people who live upstairs are very early risers and the sounds travel downstairs. I am a very light sleeper, so that may not affect someone else as much. Otherwise it was perfect.

My other party member and I had a great stay here! We chose this place because of how close it is to Variety Playhouse (about a 7 minute drive). It is also walking distance to a few local places to eat. We appreciated the K-cups, creamer, and sugar that was left for us. The bathroom is very nice and the bed is very comfortable. There was always a spot for us to park in. Michael is quick with responses and that was very much appreciated as well. Will definitely stay again if we make it back to Atlanta!

Nice little place

This was a nice little basement apartment in the Edgewood neighborhood of Atlanta. Noise from upstairs and the laundry room were a bit much for me at night (I am used to a house) but it was otherwise a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. I really enjoyed the coffee selections and that tea was also available. The washer/dryer combo was also a big bonus for me as I had unfortunately spilled on some of my clothes and didn’t have to find a laundromat.

I’m a proud University of Georgia grad (Go Dawgs!!!) and also studied Finance and Accounting at the University of Virginia. After school, I moved to Atlanta and worked in finance for several years before discovering my true passion: hosting.

I started back in 2015 by renting out a spare bedroom, which quickly grew into remodeling a basement and eventually helping friends and family design their own vacation homes. What began as a side project turned into Host This Home in 2018, where I now get to focus full-time on creating comfortable, memorable spaces for travelers.

I also serve as Treasurer for the Atlanta Metro Short-Term Rental Association, where I work with other hosts to keep Atlanta’s short-term rental community strong and welcoming.

When you stay with me, my goal is simple: to make you feel right at home while enjoying everything our city has to offer.

We were drawn to this area because it captures the best of intown Atlanta living—walkable, creative, and full of character. Inman Park, Krog Street Market, and the BeltLine are all just minutes away, offering everything from local coffee shops and craft cocktails to weekend markets and some of the city’s most loved restaurants. The neighborhood has a relaxed energy but still keeps you right in the mix of everything Atlanta is known for. Being able to walk to the MARTA station and quickly reach the airport, downtown, or Midtown was a huge plus, and the nearby Edgewood Retail District makes day-to-day conveniences incredibly easy. It’s the kind of neighborhood where you can grab brunch, browse local shops, hop on the BeltLine for a bike ride, and be back home within minutes—it truly feels like the perfect home base for exploring the city like a local.
