Welcome! Many of our guests stay with us while attending basic training graduation at Fort Leonard Wood, and we’re honored to host you during such an important milestone.
The home is approximately 10 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood.
Our fully stocked kitchen is available for family meals and celebrations.
Restaurants, shopping, and local attractions are within walking distance if you prefer to dine out.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, and the location was perfect—close enough to walk to downtown and just a short drive to Ft. Leonard Wood. We had a great time exploring the area, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again!

Great property. Communication was excellent. The property was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Sabine had microwave popcorn, granola bars and coffee out for us which was very helpful because our stay was last minute and I wasn't prepared. I highly recommend this property and host!

Sabine was great with communication from the beginning. The property was clean and well stocked. We didn’t have any issues. The bed slept very well and had plenty of pillows. It was perfect commute for Ft Leonard Wood.

Great little place!

Super cute little place to stay while in the area! It’s within walking distance to downtown Waynesville and we enjoyed our time there. We would definitely stay there again if in the area!

The house was so cute and nicely decorated. Communication with the property manager was speedy and she quickly rectified the two issues we had. The location of the house was walking distance to the quaint downtown area and a 10 minute drive to Ft. Leonard Wood. I would most definitely stay here again if I happen to come back to this area.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in the Cozy House on the Hill very much. It was absolutely clean, well stocked, warm (we appreciate the blanket on the couch), and inviting. The little touches that you provided made our stay there much more enjoyable than some of the other places we have stayed. Also, Sabine was easy to contact and her directions in getting into her home were easy. Thank you for making our stay in Waynesville a delightful one.

Family Celebration

We came to celebrate my niece’s graduation from Fort Leonard Wood and the property was perfect! The view of nature was gorgeous and it was in a perfect location to spend time with our soldier and celebrate.
