My husband and I brought our 2 dogs for a nice get away. The property was easy to find with the directions we were given. It was very beautiful. The listing should be updated to show the pool! The pool was a big reason to choose this property, unfortunately it ended up being cooler weather. We tried to utilize the pool anyway, but it was pretty chilly. I wanted to get into the hot tub instead, but it was slightly cloudy and green tinted. I don't know how unusual this is, but it was turned up to 107 also. I turned it down our first night and figured they might have just added chemicals to clear the water before we arrived and they might still need time. I had gotten a message to let them know if the water was cloudy during our stat so it could be addressed. The next day, the day after our arrival, the hot tub was still cloudy and green tinted. I messaged via the app and never heard back. I was disappointed to not be able to use the hot tub since the weather was too cool for the pool. Other than that it was beautiful and perfect. I recommend adding pictures of the pool and hot tub to the site.

Fabulous relaxing weekend away

We had a wonderful, yet quick get together. Five 40 something women who have been friends since preschool. The location was quiet and quaint. The house was very clean and well kept. We had plenty of space to all have our own bed and gather comfortably together. The hot tub was perfect. Pool was not up and running yet, too really in the year. Be aware that there are steps into the house and within the house that are a bit steep. We had no problems with them though. We will be back!

We traveled to Lansing as a family group of 5 adults and two children. My sister had some mobility issues. I knew in advance of the steps into the home. This review is just a reminder that access to the upstairs and even into the home is not for the disabled, a bad knee, hip or sprained ankle, etc. There is bedroom on the main level and a bathroom so I knew we'd be able to designate that room for her. The steps to the upstairs are STEEP, carrying a great deal of luggage, items or even children is a workout. We loved the billiard room, the swimming pool and hot tub. THe pool was quite cool but likely because we were there early in the season. The kids loved the ability to swim and play. Another reminder though, the pool and the hot tub also require mobility and could be difficult for anyone with a physical need. The inside of the home was clean and well kept giving off a cabin feel. We were comfortable, with lots of space to move around. Fans were provided in the rooms as well as comfortable beds. The large porch was nice to sit on and visit, a large round table for group meals, comfortable furniture, etc. Access to the home, easy! The outside of the home, maybe due to being located on a gravel driveway and parking area was dusty, needing a bit of cleaning to sit on the porch chairs, use the grill, etc. I give this an overall 4, just because it's not for everyone, needs a bit of cleaning on the outside but certainly was a great place to stay and play!
