Boulder Run Lodge is a large 6 bedroom/3 bathroom, 3 level A-Frame cabin with the perfect mix of seclusion and accessibility. It is surrounded by towering bluffs of Allamakee County’s driftless area and located just 2Boulder Run Log Cabin w/ Hot Tub and Pool miles South of the river resort town of Lansing, Iowa. The lodge provides an ideal getaway for large families, couples, or corporate retreats. Equipped with a XL swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, fenced in backyard, master loft suite upstairs, and a large wood burning stove.
*****Due to staff shortage & lack of a Large Laundry facility we currently have the cleaning fee discounted for renters to bring their own SHEETS, TOWELS, & PILLOWCASES or we may be able provide in certain situations for an extra fee.

Enjoyable!

Good property and everyone had an enjoyable stay. Wasn't completely clean when we arrived but the host had messaged us the day of that there had been a huge mess left by the previous guests and the cleaners might have missed some things so it was forgivable.

Nice location

We had 3 families with kids staying at the property. The location was great and the kids and adults enjoyed the hot tub. Cabin could use a little TLC. Dishes were pretty dirty with dried food and multiple light bulbs needed changing. With a little TLC it could be really nice!

Plenty of room in the cabin. Lights didn't work or no light bulbs at all. Kitchen sink spray didn't work and the faucet leaked all over the counter. The main floor bathroom outlet did not work. The lightswitch in the bathroom downstairs was bad. The curtains were falling down. No plug in the sink for the kichen disposal. No instructions or communication were given or left for us. And overall the cabin was very dirty. It was a good thing we brought pretty much our house supplies to stay there which we definitely overpaid for. Will not return again or will not suggest it to others.
