Lost River WV 3-br 3-ba cabin (Unit B)

NOTE (7/27/20): This is Unit A. Our family will likely be staying in Unit B during your stay. This allows for full social-distancing as communication would be via text or email.

We have a 3-bedroom, 3-bath cabin in Lost River, WV. The bedrooms are on the second floor. It is a nice mix of local and DC weekenders. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed, as well as a private bathroom and a private deck. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed.

The cabin has a landline telephone but there is no cell phone reception. We have high-speed DSL Internet as well as streaming Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime. We have a new, 39' LED tv. There is no cable television and local television stations are not available.

Because this is our vacation home, we do not have trash or recycling pick-up. You will have to take your trash and recycling back with you.

We're roughly 10 miles from Wardensville, WV and roughly 30 miles from Moorefield, WV. Moorefield is a good town for Walmart, lunch, a movie theatre and bowling alley.

Very close by are two restaurants: the Lost River Grill (5 miles away) and The Guesthouse Lost River (3.8 miles away). The former is more low-key, and the latter is a bit more upscale.

Trout Pond Recreation Area (about 5 minutes away by car) provides a nice lake that you can walk around (and swim in during summer), a camping area, and a playground for kids.
