Set on a breezy hillside overlooking picturesque Crocus Bay, this bright and airy villa provides sweeping ocean vistas from one of the highest points on Anguilla.

Villa Oceana offers one of the most unique views on the island - world famous Little Bay, Sandy Island, and Flat Cap peninsula, which shelters Crocus harbor. The villa's central location is ideally situated between the high-end resorts and restaurants of the West End and Shoal Bay East, one of the Caribbean's best white-sand beaches.

Built as two levels on almost one acre of land, the design allows for views of the ocean from almost every room, as well as the lush green valley of Anguilla and distant hills of St. Martin. The interior and exterior living spaces total over 5,000 square feet. Oceana's great room leads out to an expansive, arched, tiled patio and deck. The outdoor terrace features covered dining al fresco and a dramatic 12' x 30' curved infinity-edge heated pool. Unique natural travertine floors seamlessly unite the indoor and outdoor living spaces.

The main level features a spacious living area with tropical contemporary furnishings and entertainment center, fully-equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops and Viking appliances, a separate dining area, and an air-conditioned king master suite with en suite bathroom, including both a walk-in stone shower and open-air outdoor shower.

The upper level includes the second air-conditioned master king bedroom/bathroom suite, furnished with an inviting four-poster bed and both indoor and al fresco showers. The bedroom opens out to a scenic private balcony and pergola, overlooking Crocus beach. The bi-level floorplan also includes a mezzanine with queen sofa sleeper that leads out to a large verandah and lounging area perfect for relaxing and viewing spectacular sunsets.

Amazing Experience

As a first-time visitor to Anguilla, Oceana was the perfect choice for our family. It is impeccably maintained, a gorgeous location, had every amenity we needed, quiet, and the property manager and staff were friendly, informative and professional. Oceana is absolutley one of the very best villas we have ever stayed in!!! The view is beyond amazing and the stars at night are magical. We had a beautiful sunset each evening and the location mid island is perfect for exploring both East and West sides. It is very private and so nice to come home to after a day at the beach. The decor at the villa is beautiful and the kitchen is fully stocked, great keurig coffee maker and the knives were even sharp :) Thank you chef Tyrone, Ceasar, Stephenie, Shelah, Rhona, Barbara, Michelle, and Rueben for making our vacation perfect and thank you Rick for sharing your beautiful home!!! We have stayed at several different villas in Anguilla and Oceana tips them all! Beautiful, well decorated and clean home. Wonderful, peaceful location. Could have spent every hour of our vacation at the villa but of course we did have to explore the island. Enjoyed all the comfortable spaces to watch the sunrise, sunset or just stare at the ocean. Shelah and Rona were fantastic. So friendly and kept the villa spotless. We have found our new favorite spot in Anguilla and will be back!

This is an amazing property, it is in a very private and peaceful location. The view overlooking Crocus bay is stunning - pictures do not do it justice! The bay is about 5-10 min drive and has some of the best snorkeling on the island and a charming beach side bar/restaurant.We slept so well here because it's so quiet. The pool was great- the perfect temperature on a hot day. We loved the 2 outdoor showers and king size beds with large bathrooms w/2 sinks in each.Michelle was our contact and met us at the property to give us keys and show us around. She was quite responsive, and even came back to help us figure out how to use the cable TV options. WIFI worked well. The kitchen was well provisioned for cooking meals, with a gas stove and nice cookware, dishes, etc. When we stayed there were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella which were very handy, as well as some basic snorkeling gear.Cleaning ladies were super friendly and responsive.Overall we had a most relaxing and enjoyable vacation here and would gladly come back again!

Fabulous Thanksgiving holiday

Owners had the Villa in excellent shape, very spacious, fabulous view from both levels, back veranda well suited for up to 8 people. 2nd eve we hired well know island chef Tyrone Hughes for outdoor dinner for 8 & was PERFECT!! I would recommend him for those interested. The management group gave top shelf concierge service & suggestions. This Villa is perfectly situated on the island. We will be back in 2 years.

We’ve rented several houses around the world and Oceania hit every critical mark - beautiful, clean and well kept, great staff, well stocked in kitchen, soft towels, great pool, stunning view. It was like walking into your own vacation home and not a trampled, dysfunctional pseudo hotel. We will come again and definitely stay at Oceania. Also, location was great if you want to see all parts of the island. Give or take, right in the middle - easy access to West End beaches and restaurants and easy to get up to Shoals in the East. Loved this place. Great visit to chill and relaxing Anguilla:)

We spent a week here in May and could not have be more pleased with the house, the staff/communication and the overall rental experience. The villa is meticulously clean and well appointed. It's hard to choose a favorite outdoor seating area as they are all spectacular. It's very private but still only a short drive to anywhere on the island. We would definitely stay again and can recommend this property without hesitation. Why pay more to stay in a hotel when you can have your very own villa for a week. The owners have done all the work for you, all you have to do is show up and enjoy!

Summer Bliss

Our family enjoyed the most blissful summer at Oceana Villa from July 30th to August 8th. The experience was far beyond our expectations with the most spectacular views and accommodations. Our kids enjoyed the pool and did not want to leave even to enjoy festivities on the island. The openness of the airy, living space surely brought on some unexpected naps in the early afternoons. Absolutely stunning!

We had the most amazing stay at Oceana the first week of May. The property was everything we dreamed about and more. This was our seventh trip to the island and we loved this Villa more than other rental we have ever tried. We absolutely plan to return. The house was clean, well organized, and tranquil to come home to everyday. The views are outstanding and the outdoor furniture so comfortable as well. It felt very private and we enjoyed our quiet time immensely. Best part of the day was coming home to enjoy the warm pool after the day at the beach! Such a relaxing and perfect week. Communication with Rick and Michelle was easy and excellent. Sheila took excellent care of us and the house and even got out a tough wine stain on a white shirt! Thank you Sheila!! Paradise!

Oceana was a beautiful place to call our home away from home for our first trip to Anguilla. From the moment we first set foot on the property (that view!), we knew we were in a special place. The house is immaculately kept by Shelia and Rona, and they were warm and welcoming and took great care of us all week. The place always smelled so fresh and clean upon our return home each day. And the beautiful flowers were a lovely touch! The house was comfortable and had everything we could have possibly needed from the kitchen to beach and snorkeling equipment. Rick was an amazing resource for recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The worst part of our stay was that it eventually had to come to an end! We don't normally talk of repeating vacations, but our family agreed that we would return to Oceana and Anguilla again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Rick, for opening your beautiful home to us! We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful Stay

The property was fantastic! Outdoor shower is amazing! Great location, central on the island. Communication with owners and Michelle (local contact) was the best I've experienced. Check-in/out process was smooth and easy (Once we got permission to enter from Anguillan authorities... that was something else!). Michelle was wonderful as was Shelia! We had some trouble getting permission to enter St. Maarten again on our return and Michelle worked some kind of magic to get permission approved so we could catch the boat charter back to SXM for our flight home. We had to quarantine for a day until test results from our COVID test on entry to the island was confirmed negative. Michelle was very helpful in arranging to do some grocery shopping for us in advance and provided some great recommendations for take out. We were free to go by morning, car rental agency (Triple K) delivered our car to the villa and we hit the beaches... a new one every day. Restaurants on the island were great, lovely people. Definitely one of our best stays, will be back!

Great villa in central location

Villa is in great shape and immaculately clean. The managers and maid are extremely friendly and had good suggestions for what to do on the island. The managers (Barbera and Michelle) went the extra mile setting up covid testing, doing pre-arrival shopping, setting up babysitting, and helping with the arrival paperwork. The maid, Sheila, respected our space while keeping the villa spotless and supplying us with clean bath and beach towels. Pictures do not do justice to the sea and beach views from the porches and pool area. Coffee is Keurig coffee pods or drip. The kitchen is well supplied with Calphalon pans and high quality knives. Plenty of plates and glasses. Even a wine fridge. TVs are a little small, but that's not why you come to Anguilla. A better sound system for the pool area would be nice.

Short yet memorable stay in Paradise

For previous stays at other VRBO properties, we have debated on ratings between 4 or 5 stars. For Oceana, we could have easily given 6 stars if that was an option! The pictures don’t do justice to the property and the surrounding views. The property is well maintained even though it seems to be rented often. Daily housekeeping service is provided, creating an experience similar to staying at a private boutique hotel.This was our first time in Anguilla and we were fortunate to have stayed at Oceana. The house is very spacious. There is air conditioning in each bedroom complemented by ceiling fans throughout the house, resulting in comfortable indoor temperatures despite the hot sun outside. The house has two master suites which can be easily shared by two couples while allowing for privacy. Loved the outdoor shower facing Crocus Bay.Our only suggestion would be to add an umbrella or two to the pool area for shade as the sun can be intense. The only problem is that one might never leave :-). A car is needed to explore the Island and its beautiful beaches. They do drive on the left, but compared to the US/British Virgin Islands, it is much easier to drive in Anguilla. The roads are wider and there is less traffic.Our favorite beach turned out to be Rendezvous Bay where we parked ourselves at Sunshine Shack. We were sad to leave. We would return to Oceana in a heartbeat. However, securing available dates may be hard, as previous guests appear to be repeat visitors.

Fantastic Property and Service

This is a wonderful property and the service from booking to leaving was wonderful. We had all our questions answered and services set up prior to our arrival. We were able to have groceries delivered and waiting for us. The house manager met us at the property to make sure all our questions were answered and we had everything we needed. Ruben who drove us throughout our stay was a true gem and full of great stories and recommendations! He met us at the airport and throughout our time on the island. Sheila who was the in charge of the cleaning for the property was amazing. She and her sister came every other day and even did some ironing and laundry for the wedding we were attending. The house was immaculate! Beds, linens and plenty of housewares for your every need. Bed and pillows were comfortable and you had access to the pool from the master bed downstairs. The outside table was in the shade and a great place to enjoy morning coffee and watch the world go by with the beautiful view. The pool was refreshing and well maintained. The view looks exactly like it does in the pictures as does the house. The owners provide floats so you can truly relax. Be aware that the house is secluded and is a 15-20 minutes ride to restaurants so you will either need a car or transportation. I loved it being off the beaten path so you can truly unplug and relax. Thank you all for a great get away as we celebrated our friends wedding. We hope to return soon.

Paradise from Above! Oceana Exceeded our Expectations!

This villa is absolutely beautiful with everything you could possibly need or want. The views are positively breathtaking! We love the fact that this house is centrally located on the island in a spectacular location, overlooking the ocean, and Crocus Bay. It was very important to my husband and me that we had privacy and tranquility. This gorgeous villa provides that in spades as well as the feeling of being completely safe. (Not that there's every a worry about that on Anguilla as it is one of the safest islands). Oceana Villa and the view of Crocus Bay, as well as St. Bart's and Nevis in the near distance, are more impressive than the pictures show online. The sunsets are absolutely spectacular! It is obvious that the owners have a put a great deal of thought and effort into ensuring the house has a light and airy feel, with an open floor plan and the beautiful colors they have chosen throughout. There are phenomenal views of the ocean from just about every room in the house. I don't want to rave too much about Oceana as this villa is surely to be booked frequently. The villa is appropriately named as you are surrounded by the ocean....heavenly!! My husband and I will absolutely be returning to Oceana next year for a much longer period of time. The owner is a true pleasure as are the phenomenal staff: Lisa, the villa Manager, Shelah and Rhona, the fabulous cleaning people, Judy, from the car rental agency, who had the car at the villa, upon our arrival, and Harold the taxi driver. Every detail is taken care of. There is nothing to think about except relaxing!!

Rick and Michelle are the owners of the recently completed Oceana Villa. We live in Wisconsin and are the parents of an eleven-year old son named Sawyer, who is a seasoned Caribbean traveler!
The Caribbean has been our passion since we honeymooned in a private villa in St. Martin in 1993. In our wildest dreams, we never expected that we would one day build a villa of our own. We returned to St. Martin countless times over the years, and discovered the charm and beauty of Anguilla via day trips. Once we fell in love with the island and its people, there was no going back. We have put our hearts and souls into this villa and designed every feature to reflect what we love most about the Caribbean, down to the last tile! We welcome you to our home, and hope that your stay will be truly relaxing and memorable.

Why they chose this property

We chose to build our island home overlooking Crocus Bay because it is the area where we took our first day trip to Anguilla while on our honeymoon. We fell in love with this particular spot because of the spectacular ocean view, the privacy, and the tranquility that the location provides.

What makes this property unique

To quote the translation of the name of one of our favorite restaurants in St. John, Asolare, it is the 'purposeless, agreeable, leisurely passing of time' that we experience each time we return to our island home. We can't imagine any other place on earth where you can feel that way.
