About this property

Private House by Golf and Gull Lake

Relax with the whole family, plan a golf getaway with a group of friends steps from the Legacy Golf Courses, or bring your boat to enjoy Gull Lake a couple miles down the road. This house is tucked away with beautiful trees, a nice open lawn, and a patio to sit outside and enjoy nature. You could bring a golf cart and ride the cart path to the clubhouse! Premier golf courses, BIR, Mini Golf, Water Slides, Nisswa shopping, Gull Lake, lots of restaurants, and groceries are all within 15 minutes. Enjoy the North woods and lakes in the winter as well! Ski Gull downhill skiing and tubing is just a few miles away. There is plenty of room to park trailers with snowmobiles, boats, etc. We have our own private apartment in the garage, so we are sometimes on the property next door, but you will hardly know we are there. We like to be readily available in case you have questions or need anything, but ensure plenty of the privacy you need to enjoy your stay. You will have the entire house and yard to yourself. The only space we may share is the driveway.

Our original reservations fell through just a month before our trip. I didn’t hold out much hope for something that could meet our needs for location and cost, let alone be nice. Scott and Sara proved me wrong! Their house was exactly what we wanted. The layout was perfect and all the rooms were the right size, super-clean, and well-organized. I liked that the decor had personality instead of being generic or feeling like I was intruding in a private place.Too hot for us to spend much time outside, which was quite disappointing as the property was lovely. Every room had a great windows, with views of the green grass, woods, flowers, and wildlife. Check-in, check-out, and all communication with Scott was easy. One of our best VRBO stays!

Quiet & Comfortable Syat

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The home was spacious and comfortable. The location was easy to get to but tucked away enough to be a quiet reprieve from the hustle and bustle. Only drawback for us was there isn’t access to a washer and dryer which is a perk we usually look for in the places we stay. Jimmy John, the resident cat, was a nice bonus. We looked forward to seeing him every day!

An Ideal place to stay when visiting the Brainerd area.

We felt right at home at this property. It was clean, neat and cozy. The location is excellent. We were there for an event at the raceway. However, I am a golf enthusiast too and I was very impressed with the area overall. There was a lot to do for the family. Most importantly this is a comfortable and quiet place to relax. Next time we're in the area we will certainly check its availability!!!
