We had a great stay here for a girls trip. Host was quick to respond to any messages, house is adorable inside and the hot tub and pool were spotless. Quiet location with lots of privacy and huge yard. Kitchen was also very well stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

It sits in a rural, peaceful setting on acreage. It is perfectly, tastefully decorated, snacks were provided, it was spotlessly clean, our dogs loved the large fenced back yard as did we. The pool was relaxing to meditate by, the host was responsive and helpful... We will certainly stay again!

Great property! Location is private, but one hour from Waco and Austin. Salado is a unique small town to explore. Belton and Temple offer plenty of dining options and activities. The house is well appointed and the pool, with hot tub, is a wonderful bonus! Our hosts were wonderful and checked in on us even though they were out of the country.

We booked this property for my daughter’s birthday last year so it was a no brainer while planning this year! It was equally as amazing. We did have a small AC issue but Kelly was quick to respond and got to the house quickly with a company already enroute to fix the issue in case he couldn’t. The owners are amazing. The house is amazing with any and everything you could need. The pool is a dream! Don’t hesitate to book this property!

A wonderful getaway and peaceful experience

We traveled here with family to enjoy the area over spring break. It was a quick trip to the lake, and into town to experience the history of the region. Our family enjoyed spending most of our time outside with the beautiful layout of the property.

The house was wonderful and Salado was beautiful. We traveled around in the mornings and enjoyed the pool in the afternoon. The kitchen was well equipped and became our hangout spot if we were not outside by the pool. Communication with the host was great!

Great get away!

This home has beautiful finishes and decorated with a simple sophistication. So loved the less is more classic decor. The house was immaculate, offering a comfortable, clean, & stylish place to unwind. The pool was sparkling and well-maintained. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen, which has all you need & more. Highly recommend for a luxurious & relaxing getaway. Bravo to our kind Hosts.

HGTV Stunning

The house is beautiful. Very tasteful decor and open concept. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The back yard is large with so many mature oak trees and no close neighbors. We were 10 minutes from downtown Salado and shopping. We used HEB in Harker Heights, but Brookshire Brothers is closer. The hosts responded to messages immediately and were very helpful. It was a perfect stay. I’d love to do it again.

Pristine Countryside Gem

Absolutely loved our stay here. The home is gorgeous; pictures are pretty, but don't compare to how lovely it is in person. Everything was spotless, I'm talking every inch of this home; one of the cleanest, if not THE CLEANEST, vacation home I've ever stayed in. Truly a pristine and very well kept place. Beds were all comfortable, showers were so nice, open kitchen made a perfect spot for time with family to hang and talk. The pool was amazing, had a deep end too! Great temp and so clean. Lots of fun outdoor games, floats and activities. Plenty of seating no matter where we wanted to relax, inside or out. The property felt super private, but not overly isolated; the perfect balance. Very quiet and peaceful. Check in and check out were so easy, very minimal too. Also really appreciated the kindness of the host, we felt so welcome and accommodated. They were very warm in all of their communication.Would love to come back! :)

Space while very visiting family

Our family of 5 stayed here for the holidays. We have family spread out nearby but no one has enough room to host big groups. This property is setup perfectly to entertain both inside and out. The beds were very comfortable and the area is very quiet. This was our first ever VRBO and it was a great experience.

A Perfect Getaway!

We spent a long weekend visiting our favorite Texas town and only wish we’d found this rental sooner. The home is beautifully appointed and so very comfortable. The pool and outdoor space was a the icing on the cake. Our hosts have seriously thought of everything. Honestly, I think they must have stayed at a ton of short term rentals and made a list of the amenities they wished had been in them and then created the perfect experience. There’s plenty of furniture in the common areas, loads of towels, including for the pool, large closets with hangers, well stocked bathrooms, a large kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you could hope for, welcome snacks, and a comprehensive list of suggestions of places to explore in the area. The communication from the hosts was easy, warm, and just the right amount. We use VRBO quite a bit when we travel and have had some great experiences. This getaway hit all the notes we look for to make a stay great.

This property was absolutely AMAZING!! It was so well stocked with the absolutely unexpected. It was clean, tidy, and well organized. We needed nothing! All toiletries, dishware, small appliances, etc., were provided, we literally needed to bring nothing but food and ourselves for the stay! And the pool was amazing. There were floaties, pool toys, outside games, tabletop games, I could go on and on! The communication with the host was excellent. The outside was so tucked away and inviting, there were even deer right out front! I'd recommend this place to anyone and I'd go back in the future. Couple of tidbits of advice.....1. The pool is insanely deep so beware if you arent a decent swimmer, or cant float! And watch the kiddos. 2. If nature unnerves you, youd better stay inside, lol. Overall, beautiful place, Kelly and Kelly have provided an absolutely wonderful space away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Rent it, you won't regret your stay!

Surprisingly Disappointing

Let me start by saying the hosts were hospitable & friendly & communicated througout our stay. There were only beds for 7 people, not 9. After night 1, I noticed the throw pillows on the bed were covered in dog hair. My husband began cleaning the entire house, the amount of dog hair swept up was excessive & disgusting, it filled the vaccum. Our clothes were covered in it when we sat on the furniture; we bought lent rollers and cleaned the couches, and ran it over all beds, sheets and pillows. All throw pillows in every room & throw blankets were completely covered in dog hair. There were handfuls of hair between beds & the wall. We went through 4 lent rollers to make the home more acceptable. The silverware drawers are full of dirt, the pot holders were disgusting with food caked on them. When we showered the first time & used the "clean towels" dog hair was all over us, so I re-washed everything. I pre-washed every dish used to prepare food. I chose this home bc they were highly rated. I absolutely would not stay here again and likely would not stay at another "pet friendly" listing because of this experience. If we had an alternative place to stay and didn't already pay an arm and leg to stay here, we definitely would have checked out and went elsewhere.
