Cozy Family Sized Cottage in the Country! 15 minutes to Lancaster City!!

Come & Stay at our lovely, family sized cottage in the Country!! This well cared for home is only 15 minutes west of LANCASTER CITY, near to the Susquehanna River and close to many other outdoor destinations and activities such as the Turkey Hill Trail, Enola Low Grade Biking Trail, Chestnut Grove Natural Area, Shenk's Ferry Wildflower Preserve, Safe Harbor Dam Fishing, Chickies Rock, and the Northwest River Trail. This cottage has a cozy kitchen, dining room, living room with reclining couches, 3 bedrooms, and a full bath all on the main floor. A sprawling, open basement with a full bath, cozy sitting nook, and an outside entrance with a wide doorway that opens onto the driveway, makes a wonderful place to stretch out and relax. A nice sized yard outside is a perfect place to play some games or watch the stars in the clear night sky!!! Wake up every morning, and have breakfast with a few fresh chocolate chip cookies and healthy eggs from our pasture raised flock of chickens!!! And there is no need to hurry home when the weekend is over.......there is reliable, high speed, Wi-Fi here so that you can keep up with business and school away from home. So go ahead and enjoy an extra night or two!!! We have a 3 night minimum stay... or, stay for 7 nights and take advantage of our weekly rate!!!

Wendell and Twilene went above and beyond any Vrbo that I have ever stayed in. It was very well supplied with all the essentials and extras. Well maintained and very clean. If I ever decide to spend a few days in that area again, I will be sure to use their house. My sisters and I want to thank them for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful, and comfortable house,

House was very clean, and comfortable. Fridge was well stocked and the granola bars and snacks were a nice touch. The coffee and tea bar was amazing as well, and the cookie dough for baking fresh cookies was oh so good. The house is in a quiet country setting with pretty views. Everything you need is on the main level, so it was nice for my elderly parents so they didn’t have to do a lot of stairs. We definitely would stay again !!!

We absolutely loved our stay! When we walked into the house, we were so amazed by the beautiful furnishings and decorative touches throughout the home. The owners stocked us up with so many staples like milk, eggs, cereal, and juice, but also gave us granola bars, chips, and even a bucket of chocolate candy! Any condiment we needed seemed to be there. They had thought of everything! We had plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen for any type of cooking to be done, and there several options for coffee, tea, and even hot chocolate! The rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed the good rest in this quiet location. We stayed here as home base for several days in preparation for our son's wedding in the area, and it was a wonderful and relaxing home in which to unwind. We truly loved staying here and would recommend this property highly to anyone who wants a beautiful and fully-equipped home. We will definitely return when back in the Lancaster area! Thank you so much, Wendell and Twilene!

Our hosts stocked the fridge with fresh eggs, bread, sausage, milk, and juice. There was plenty of coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks. The home was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was a quiet and restful place to retreat to after a busy day.

Wonderful place to stay

This was our 2nd stay here and it was just as good as the first. We will definitely be back again. Plenty of space to spread out in the basement. Stocked with plenty of snacks and breakfast items.

Perfect Country Getaway

This was an exceptional cottage to stay in with our elderly parents. It was so peaceful and quiet and was the cleanest, neatest place we have ever stayed in. The hosts really went above and beyond with delicious breakfast items and lots of treats. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful cottage. We would definitely stay there again!

Check in was super easy! The home was absolute beautiful! Extraordinarily clean! We will definitely book again. The host left many treats for us which was so kind and made us smile.
