The River House was so comfy. A Winter Wonderland. House was even decorated for Christmas, which we loved as guests in WI.

We loved the quiet back yard and the bed was nice, we slept good and had a great time. Close to great restaurants. Close to great fishing. We caught some big Northern pike in Montello.

Peaceful and natural beauty.

Very calm and relaxing stay. Perfect time of the year for our visit, the fall colors were stunning. Our favorite place in the house was the couch facing the river. We will definitely book this place again. Thank you for allowing us to injoy your beautiful house.

Weekend Fishing Trip

The house was perfect for our group of 5. We arrived a few hours early and thankfully were allowed to access the house. It was clean and well stocked with basic supplies. The owner responded quickly to the few questions I had. We visited to fish and the weather was perfect. The fishing was excellent right in the back yard off the shore. Everyone in our group caught fish all weekend! My son landed the biggest which was a 49.5” sturgeon guesstimating about 35-40lbs which shocked us all! We ate at a couple restaurants in Montello but really enjoyed roasting hot dogs and brats over the fire pit at night. I would recommend Mike & Cathy’s Good Old Days for the Friday night fish fry which was a short drive away. We will definitely return!! Everyone had a great time!!
