This was our 3rd time staying here, it was clean as always upon arrival and everything is exactly as described. No complaints for 3 years in a row! We love it there!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is rustic (do not expect any luxuries) but it is clean and has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable. The highlights were the amount of birds singing, the paths throughout the property and, of course!, kayaking on the Kettle River with the kayaks provided. We saw deer, muskrats, a huge turtle and a bobcat! Also, it is not far from great hiking areas, like Banning State Park and Jay Cooke State Park. I just wished we would have stayed longer!
Property was exactly has advertised. Great location for those looking for secluded place to stay. Owner was very responsive! Check in was a breeze!!Cabin has large area for parking large boat. Great trail system for walking and kayaks right on river.

Kelly was a great guest and followed all house rules I gave her 4 star but ment to give her 5
We really enjoyed our stay and the property! It was gorgeous. Unfortunately it rained a lot but the cozy cabin was perfect for puzzling, playing games, and watching movies. Thank you for the accommodations.
We wanted a place with a balance of rustic cabin and modern conveniences, and this was it. An exciting floorplan for the kids who had their own loft. Lots of places for crafting, board games, endless cozy spaces for reading. We never had to see another human being, if that's what you are looking for. Just the hummingbird who came by every day at 3pm. Lots of trails for walks or photography! Huge porch! And the host was so helpful when a storm rolled through and we had a few questions. It was an easy drive for a Duluth day trip and several state parks are near by as well. The trip planner had lots of adventure ideas as back up, but once we got there everyone voted to hang at the cabin. This die hard tent camper was just as happy as the "I need a bed and real bathroom" family members.
Nice calm and relaxing spot, not too far to food and trails. Nice walking tails on the property to help the dogs stretch their legs. The dogs loved it.
My daughters and I had a wonderful time st your place! The property is wonderful to explore, like a park! So beautiful and relaxing, had a bonfire, and never turned the TV on!
