Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place in Eclectic, AL. Beautiful views, close to the water with only 3 steps to the water. Large cove with little boat traffic makes this a calm place to do some bird watching, swim, kayak, fish or just relax. This one level home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and sleeps 8. There are 2 master bedrooms, one of which has a separate entrance off the huge screen porch. It’s perfect for family vacations. There is room on the dock for your boat and the 2 kayaks are for guest use. The dock has lots of shade and plenty of seating for a great day of relaxing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space on the dock to swim and keep our boat in the water throughout the stay. Free public boat ramp about 10 minutes away by car and by boat. House was perfect for our crew. Would stay here again.

Best Vacation Ever

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Lake Martin and plan to come back later this year. The house and setting is absolutely perfect! We hated that we had to leave.

Gorgeous views and beautifully decorated cabin!

We enjoyed our stay with our daughters and their friends. Plenty of space to gather whether it was inside, on the screened in porch or the pier. The cabin was decorated nicely and had updated appliances. Ample parking. The dock was brand new. We had plenty of room to tie up our wake surf boat and still enjoy swimming. We would stay here again and again! Absolutely loved it!

Great home with a flat lot facing east on Lake Martin. Enjoyed swimming and use of the two kayaks.

This is the place you want to stay

We are from Colorado and it was our first trip to Alabama. We chose Lake Martin because my friend lives there and raves about the lake. It didn't disappoint and the house made it perfect. I would stay at this house again and again and again...The house is quiet and quaint. The lake is in a location with little boat traffic, it is quiet, and I found the lake to be not so busy even on a weekend. Brink your portable speaker because there is no speaker or portable stereo. The bedrooms are all very nice. We had 7--mom, dad, and 5 kids from 15-22 years old. We had plenty of space. The enclosed porch is great. The new dock is awesome. The yard is plush and large. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of bugs and mosquitos. The frogs are entertaining. The lake water is super warm and calm in early June. In June, sun is on the water and dock from 8am-5pm. Proximity to stores, restaurants, and marinas was 10-15 minutes. Drinking water from the faucet was not so great, but filtered water was fine. Improvements: 1-2 small tables for the dock; replace wooden deck (I know it is in the plans); add a ladder to the dock to get out of the water more easily; put some texture on rock steps to give them better traction and safety; add shampoo in the showers. These are all minor items that did not detract from our stay.

Wonderful Property with Gorgeous Views

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. We so enjoyed this house for many reasons. The location and views are amazing! The house was very clean and organized. The owners were organized and had a notebook with helpful information. Additionally, they provided everything one might need while at the lake (bandaids, sunscreen, bug spray, etc). We even had towels so we didn’t have to use our own. To add to all of this, the owners are very kind people. This made the experience even better. It’s very obvious they take great care of this home and their guests. We would love to return to this lovely home. It was a great way to unwind and enjoy time with each other!

Fall family weekend

We had such a great time and this house/ location/ property were perfect! Check in is simple. Mrs. Laura is so kind and quick to respond to any questions . The property is pretty flat with just a step or two, loved this for my mom and dad. Kayaks were a great extra! My favorite had to be the screened porch and it's great view for morning coffee. And the firewood that had been there for us to enjoy !!!! Such a great time!!

This part of Lake Martin is not as busy as the main channel. It's wide enough for water sports, close to Real Island Marina and just a short boat or car ride to Kawliga. The closest grocery store is just a 10 minute drive.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We have 400 feet of waterfront with great views of the water without all the traffic. The slew is not packed full of houses or boat docks. The slew is rather deep so the views are nice, even in the winter when the water drops.
