Highly Recommend Summer Salt

My husband I have chosen SGI for 15 vacations and four of them in Summer Salt. Summer Salt is our favorite vacation spot on the island but not always available when we book. The House is a super clean split bedroom floor plan with comfy beds and a large primary bedroom shower with two shower heads and soothing/relaxing water pressure. Laundry room is full size with upscale appliances. Kitchen is fully stocked. Pool and surrounding area are beautiful with multiple seating options; restroom (shower/sink/toilet are in three separate areas) at pool level. House is on a corner lot with road directly across street leading to the beach boardwalk.

Wonderful place to stay.

We had an excellent stay at Summer Salt Cottage. The home was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, with a layout that worked perfectly for our group. The location on Saint George Island was peaceful and ideal for our whole family. Communication with the host was prompt and clear, making the entire stay seamless. We would absolutely recommend this property and would be happy to return.

Wonderful family beach trip!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Summer Salt! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family vacation. The house was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and incredibly well equipped. All of the amenities made our stay so convenient, and it truly felt like everything we could possibly need was already there. Our whole family went, including small kids, and Summer Salt was perfect for everyone. There was plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together. The weather was beautiful, but the house and all it had to offer made the trip even better. Beth was also an amazing host. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. She made everything easy from start to finish. We absolutely loved our stay at Summer Salt and cannot wait to come back in the future. Summer Salt was the perfect home for our family of 6! The entire process was easy and Beth gave fantastic advice on what to do on the island. We enjoyed the pool and the deck for views of the ocean. The home was very clean and well stocked for a great week at the beach! We love that the home had item for kids such as games, charging cubes and night lights as well as many outdoor items! We will for sure be back!

The best vacation ever because of Summer Salt Cottage!

This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever taken, and all thanks to Summer Salt Cottage! There wasn’t a single detail overlooked in the condo to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the convenience to the beach, private pool, and how clean and fully stocked the condo was. The host was wonderful - so quick to respond and very attentive. Without a doubt, we will be booking at Summer Salt again when visiting SGI!

Couldn’t have been any better! Perfect!

My family stayed at Summer Salt Cottage for two weeks in May and we can all honestly say it was the best vacation ever! It was perfect in every way. The house is very spacious and has everything you would ever need. The bath towels were the best ever and I mean that! The beds were super comfy and the huge couch was perfect for lounging and watching TV and playing all the games that were provided on the two days it rained. The front porch was great for watching the dolphins too. Beth checked in with us throughout our stay and was so accommodating. Rent this place, you won’t be sorry!

Summer salt cottage was everything and more! Perfect location for beach access and also short golf cart ride into town. The house had everything we needed in the house as well as outside beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys for the kids! We will for sure be back!

Amazing Vacation Home - Perfect for Families

This was our second stay at Summer Salt Cottage; we can't say enough good things about the accommodations and the hosts! Truly the perfect beach rental for a family with children; steps from the beach, private pool with outdoor bathroom, the home itself is extremely clean, has everything you could ever need and more! Perfect for us and exactly what we wanted

This is a great house. Nice views of the Gulf from the main level. Super easy walk to the beach. Nice driveway size with covered parking. Lots of outdoor furniture for sitting around the pool. Very clean and well maintained. We will be returning!

The perfect beach house!

Summer Salt provides the perfect accommodations for a visit to St. George Island. The cottage is just a few hundred steps from the boardwalk over the dunes to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and conveniently located less than mile from the restaurants and stores on the island. The deck with its views to the Gulf and the pool is a perfect place to enjoy your morning joe and afternoon drinks. The open living room, diining area and kitchen provide all the space needed to enjoy together time with family and friends. The kitchen area with its modern appliances and well-stocked cooking accessories, makes meal prep easy easy. The pool provides a great alternative to the Gulf beach, with comfy furniture and a covered area to gather out of the sun. While it might not be a thing for some, the outdoor shower, with its view of the open sky, is worth trying. The beds in each of the three bedrooms, are comfy, not too hard and not too soft, and each room is equipped with a flat screen tv and space to unpack the suitcases and put them away during your stay. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful St. George Island!

Amazing Stay!

Our first-time visit to St. George Island was amazing and so was the Summer Salt Cottage! The location of the house is perfect in a relaxed setting with the beach and ocean just a short walk away. Everything inside was super clean and up to date and we had plenty of space with our two kids. Beth is super responsive and does whatever she can to make sure your stay is a memorable one. We definitely will be coming back in the future!

Fantastic SGI Vacation!

This was our first year staying at Summer Salt Cottage and we will be back! The location was a quick golf cart ride to just about anywhere on the island and a short ride or walk to the beach. The pool was large for the size of the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. Breakfast and lunch on the balcony were very enjoyable. Beth, the owner, was also fantastic to work with and easy to reach/communicate with.
