If you are more of the adventurous type, Hermoso Colibri is close to many of the area’s tourist attractions. Manuel Antonio National Park is 7.1 KM (17 minutes) away. Here you will find several public beaches and restaurants for that afternoon cerveza. An hour north, you will find many of small beach towns, like Playa Hermosa, Jaco, Playa Herradura. An hour south, you will find the town of Uvita and the beautiful Marino Ballena National Park, which has the infamous Whale’s Tail.
