Beautiful stay

It really was a perfect location to Patong - I am not going to lie - the hill yes is steep but a bit of exercise never hurt anyone!! As far as the house, it was clean, neat and had everything required. The beds were a little harder than I was use to but hey you can't have everything!!The manager was superb and so were all the staff. You are out of all the noise and bustle of Patong but close enough to duck down and grab a feed and do the night life if you wanted. The pool is a wonderful addition.

I would love to visit this place again and again because of the Atika Villas only. Best Villa cleanliness at its best. Nice host. Location is awesome the ocean view the pool .... I cant take away from my eyes. I still remember that for last 2 days i woke up early just to experience the view which was coming from the villa. Best ocean pool view villa. Just a small thing that the third room is not at the suitable location because it is near the garage which cannot be used from the villa itself. No complain everything was perfect. Thought the villas way is too steepy but whenever you enter the villa you forget all the things. Everyone where very helpfull there. The experience for Atika Villa 2 ocean front pool view can beat any of the hotels suite room. Near patong beach and bangla road...so guys no need to worry about this villa just book it if you are travelling to phuket.

Kitchen is decently stockedStaff was very nice and responsiveCons:They will take your passport or cash upon arrival and return it to you at checkout. The reason they do this is so you pay for the electricity you use while you are there. We had to pay 140USD for electric for the four nights we were there. If you don't pay, you don't get your passport back. They don't tell you how much you owe until right before you are about to leave.I can't stress enough how steep of a hill it is. It was hard for vehicles to get up the hill and it was stressful to see cars keep trying to get to the street. We had one guy blow out his clutch. A lot of people wouldn't drive pick us up. If you stay there, keep that in mind. It was hard to get transportationThey don't provide any body wash. Make sure you bring your own. Not really walkable due to steep hill. 3rd bed is under staircase and is a twin size so not really comfortable for six adults. There aren’t beds for 6 people, unless someone sleeps on couchNo access to beach. You can't walk to the beach from here, need to take transportation. Bathroom in main bedroom has a glass wall so you can see the person in the bathroom.

This review is for Atika Villa 8. (My initial booking was for Villa 2. We changed upon arrival.) The Atika Villas is a cluster of terraced homes built on a side of a hill. Access to the Villa can be tricky. When you think you've hit the steep slope that everyone talks about, there'll be another coming. Unless you have arranged the appropriate transport, daily trips out n back again can be challenging for families with young children and elderly. Because of the steep slopes and hill, walking to and from Villa to Patong is a lot more difficult than you see on the map. All that said, Villa 8 has a spectacular view of Patong and the bay. Each of the four levels of the Villa have a terrace. The accordian glass panel doors allows one to open the place up fully on 2 levels - the living area where the dining and kitchen are and the big bedroom below where the swimming pool is. The openess connects you to the outdoors yet with full privacy of no other homes or hotels nearby peeking in. The Villa faces a Northerly direction so there is sunlight at the pool and terraces almost throughout the day. The villa's WiFi works superbly. The kitchen is also fully equipped. The bedrooms could do with better bedstands and lamps. Also, if you have young children, the handle-less staircase on one side is something you want to think about. The manager, Peter, who met us, is friendly and accommodating. The staff are cheerful, responsive, and always nearby to attend to us. Other than a few signs of wear and tear, Villa 8 makes a very comfortable holiday home.
