About Butler Ball
I am a native New Orleanian, this is my sixth camp and definitely the best one I have ever owned. I love fishing and water sports but my wife loves cooking, good food and family time. This "camp" gives us and you the best of both of those worlds. It is really not a "camp" but in this area even million dollar waterfront homes are called camps if you use them on the week-end.
Butler Ball purchased this House in 2015
Why Butler Ball chose St. Tammany Parish
This one has it all. Fishing, water sports, crabbing and just relaxing with a water front view. You are only 25 minutes from New Orleans so anything you want to do there is a quick car ride away but you can retreat back to the peace and quiet of the Bayou!
What makes this House unique
Night fishing light on the pier, in fall and winter you can catch right off the dock. If you know how to throw a cast net you can even catch your own live shrimp off the pier!

Great fishing trip!
Port of Call is a great place to stay for a fishing trip! The house is comfortable and the back deck area is perfecting for fishing and hanging out. The marina is right down the road and the people were friendly and helpful! Having Sue, the property manager next door is a bonus!
Vacation Memory Maker
My family and I traveled to Louisiana to visit with friends and family. This was our first vacation rental and it exceeded our expectations. It was a please to work with Butler from beginning to end. His camp was awesome and met our needs to the fullest. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone who asked. Book it now, you will not be disappointed. We look forward to our next stay!!!
I am so glad you enjoyed our place as much as we do, we are headed there right now to squeeze in between your departure and our next arrival.
Highly recommend. Great location and Family friendly.
We had a wonderful Spring Break vacation at Paradise on the Bayou. This home is roomy and has great outdoor space on the water. The kids enjoyed fishing and crabbing. So much to do in the area also, kids loved the Cajun Swamp tour which was really close by. An added asset is the neighbor next door, so sweet and kind. She makes sure you have everything you need.
Thanks, we love it too. Every week when I go I get a little teary when it is time to leave. But just like the Saints, there is always next time...
My friend and I had a great time, beautiful views, great fishing experience, and very relaxing.
Great property location for combination fishing, relaxing, New Orleans Vacation.
Paradise on the Bayou stay
Great place. Very comfortable with many amenities including canoe and paddle boat. We all enjoyed our very peaceful stay very much. The only problem is that the boat launch is a little far from the house, but we only needed to use it to launch and load, once each.
Right on the water! Great crabbing, fishing and close to town. Very clean and comfy!! Downstairs was great with breeze and plenty to do!! Highly pleased!!! Will be back!!! Butler and Ms. Sue are fabulous!
25 Minutes to New Orleans, enjoy Jazz Fest, Mardi Gras and sporting events. Surrounded by golf courses. Fish off the dock or bring your boat for fishing, crabbing, skiing or any other water sports.
