Bonfield Manor est situĂ© Ă  l'entrĂ©e d'Oxford, une promenade de demi mile ou Ă  vĂ©lo des restaurants, des commerces et de la plage de Riverview Ave. La propriĂ©tĂ© en front de mer dispose d'un parc de 12 acres comme la crĂ©ation, vues fabuleuses et l'accĂšs Ă  Boone Creek et la Choptank Ă  son confluent dans la baie de Chesapeake. Bonfield Manor et ses bĂątiments de plantations ont Ă©tĂ© Ă©tablies en 1771-1773. Le manoir d'origine gĂ©orgienne a brĂ»lĂ© en 1927 et a Ă©tĂ© remplacĂ© par un pavillon Ă©lĂ©gant, construit sur le monticule d'origine (et coloniale cuisine du sous-sol). Avec deux suites parentales en rez de chaussĂ©e, deux chambres queen et 2 chambres avec 2 lits jumeaux chacune sur le deuxiĂšme Ă©tage Bonfield Manor peut accueillir 8-12 personnes. La propriĂ©tĂ© de 12 acres avec son patio extĂ©rieur ombragĂ©, piscine, grand quai et un vaste terrain fournit Ă  la fois la vie privĂ©e, le temps pour se dĂ©tendre et un terrain de jeu vaste pour petits et grands. PĂȘche, pĂȘche au crabe, le canoĂ« et la natation sont au bout de vos doigts comme le sont les jeux, TV, Wi-Fi, un piano et des livres pour le divertissement dans la porte. Oxford est Ă  vos pieds, St Michaels un voyage en ferry et Easton un entraĂźnement de 15 minutes.

Another perfect family week

Bonfield Manor is a hidden treasure on Maryland’s eastern shore. We can honestly say that the owner has thought of just about everything that family vacationers might need. The kitchen is fully equipped for the size of the group which is rarely the case. The library is amazing!! The owner lists activities available locally such as boat charters. Our favorite thing to do is crabbing off the pier but this year we decided to try out the kayaks off the pier step down which worked out well. Biking into town for lunch or ice cream is also a favorite. You really will love it.

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house and property were absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed swimming in the pool, going out on the kayaks and paddle boards and bike riding into the quaint town of Oxford. We truly enjoyed our stay at Bonfield Manor and would love to come back again!

Amazing Grounds and Beautiful Old House

The house itself was great, but the yard, pool, and dock make this the perfect summer house.

The house was spotless and filled with everything you can think of and then more. Extra towels, linens anything else needed. The grounds are well kept. Every morning someone could be seen cleaning any leaves from the pool. The house is filled with games and all different sizes of bicycles. All on acres of private property adjacent to a conservatory park.

Perfect vacation!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family The layout of the house, everyone had their own space and bedrooms were very comfortable. A beautiful library of books, which we used in the evening after kids were in bed. The grounds and the pool, dock, kayaks, and every space was ideal. We will definitely return!

Wonderful weekend get away

This was the perfect place for our girls get away. The house and location were perfect. There is plenty to do at the house and close by. The ferry to St. Michaels is not far. I would highly recommend this property and plan on booking again in the future.

Family celebration

My wife, three children, spouses and four grandchildren and I spent a week at the manor. Very relaxing, pool was great. The house and the grounds were wonderful. Enough to do to keep busy, or just relax.

Wonderful place for a family reunion

This is a great rental for a large family. The town is beautiful and quiet with marinas, a ferry, a 25 mile an hour speed limit so biking is easy and safe, great restaurants and one of the best ice cream places in all of Maryland. The property has so many activities — a huge yard with breath taking sunrises, games, bikes, canoes, a pool, BBQ grills, badminton

Spectacular Wedding Weekend!

The house and grounds are wonderful. All the bedrooms were well appointed and very comfortable. The common spaces were very generous and very well appointed to make you feel right at home. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted and more. Pool, dock and yard were great for gathering and games - wish we could have stayed a month! Will definitely stay here again.

Idyllic Location with lots of amenities for a group

10 of us spent a wonderful long weekend at the idyllic Bonfield Manor House. Gorgeous property with peaceful stunning views, an easy walk into Oxford and plenty to do at the house. Marianne was so easy to work with and very responsive! Highly recommend!!!

Anniversary Celebration

Beautiful home and setting! Lots to do to keep pre-teens and teens occupied: canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, games, plus large, flat yard for outdoor games, such as bocce ball. Very relaxing

We have cherished Bonfield Manor for nearly 20 years and use the property YEAR Round as a 1-2 day retreat and for longer vacations. With children grown and heavy travel commitments, we would like to share this special historic property with others who are looking for a short-term 'get-away' or vacation rental. Bonfield has been updated to today's standards and furnished with 19th century antiques and engravings as well as modern art works and furniture.

Priceless setting and water views. Convenient, close-in but peaceful location, Abundant wildlife: ospreys, owls, blue herons, fowl, foxes, and deer. Remaining colonial buildings on the property. Plantation and literary history of Bonfield Manor.
