Perched above the breathtaking bluffs of the South Cumberland Plateau, Piney House invites you to reconnect with the wild and wonderful outdoors—without giving up modern comforts. This peaceful retreat is the ideal balance of simplicity, style, and soul-soothing scenery.

Start your day with sweeping sunrise views from the private deck, then venture out to nearby natural gems like Foster Falls, The Caverns, and South Cumberland State Park—all within 15 minutes. In the evening, settle in beside the bluffside firepit as stars fill the sky.

Inside, enjoy a cozy master bedroom, charming loft, and fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher. Whether you’re curled up with a book, cooking up a favorite dish, or gathered around the fire, Piney House offers everything you need to slow down and savor the moment.

Note: Firewood is not included, but you’re welcome to bring your own or purchase a bundle from Retreat Vacations.

Excellent choice for an easy stay

This was a perfect rental for what we needed on our recent trip to Sewanee. Reasonably priced, clean and easy access. A lot of pros for staying here again. The only negative would be the lack of window coverings on the property. With a nearby home able to see right into the property, it would be nice to be able to have a little privacy while lounging in the home.
