If you want to be in peaceful nature with the evening show of watching the fog bank move in from Moro Bay slowly inland below you, this is the place for you. Humming birds everywhere and trails to strool on the property is so perfect. The host are friendly and helpful. Great get away but close to town enough.
A great stay for the family to relax and take in the views!
We had a wonderful time at Eagles Landing! The views are amazing, but moreover the peacefulness of the mountains with the marine layers that roll in and out each day are unforgettable. The barn is well equipped and the hosts were super accommodating. Montana De Oro , SLO, wine country, and Pismo Dunes are all very close by so there is plenty to do and see. I highly recommend and will be back again!
We absolutely loved this place. Was very easy to access to get into. We were amazed with the beauty of it and its surroundings. It was very clean and spacious. The owners were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here and we would 100% stay here again.
Very clean, big property with beautiful views. Make sure to walk up to the road when the sun is setting. Gorgeous!! Our hosts responded quickly during our stay when we had questions. The only downside for us is that there is only one bathroom for my family (7 adults) which was tough especially getting ready in the mornings. Though this property isn't far from downtown SLO, plan a little extra time coming and going to get up and down the canyon road. Great stay at a reasonable price compared to other accommodations in the area.
Eagles Landing is so beautiful and serene, with magnificent views of green rolling hills and Morro Bay, making you feel like you've stumbled upon a slice of paradise. The hosts were gracious, making sure we had everything we needed for our wonderful stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything imaginable for all your cooking needs. It was fantastic to sit outside, enjoy the sunrise and have a quiet breakfast as well as enjoying dinners with breathtaking sunsets. Our fur babies had the time of their lives exploring the expansive property.
We absolutely fell in love with Eagles Landing and will surely be back! Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise!
This property knocked it out of the park. It is very unique in that it is a restored barn with huge, beautiful entry doors, and a back glass, two-story garage door that opens up to a palatial patio/view. The views from the patio and fire pit were like nothing I’ve ever seen before. This property is meant for a place to unwind and decompress, though at the bottom of the hill, you are in close proximity to stores, restaurants, beaches, and Cal poly. Note, once you leave the main road it is a 5 mile trek up a windy mountain Road so if you’re arriving late, it’s probably best to have a meal planned. It takes about 20 minutes to get down the grade.
Great hosts, beautiful accommodations, fabulous views
This is a wonderful property with great hosts. Although the listing says sleeps 6 (which it does) I with the description had said "I bedroom(sleeps to on queen size bed), One 3/4 bathroom, One double sized couch pullout, One queen mattress in loft. We thought it was a 2 bedroom place...
To have fabulous views, you need to traverse a road that is narrow at spots, very twisting with lots of blind curves, and depending on direction you take out of the property, you might be driving on a dirt road that is Prefumo still. I get that the road to the property could possibly scare off some clients, but it should probably be mentioned. We traversed it so much that we became accustomed to it but it is challenging.
