About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Coffee Party USA Working Board Retreat

  • 4 of 5

Coffee Party Board Directors from all over the USA met for our annual in-person meeting in Neskowin OR. We reviewed our past year and planned our upcoming year - all while looking out from our huge windows over the inspiring ocean scene. There was a bedroom for each of us and we slept deeply, breathing the fresh, cool air. We took turns cooking in the large well stocked kitchen and the handy propane grill on the patio. During breaks, we trekked down the (steep!) path to the beach or rested on one of the several decks. The Gorman House gave us the perfect location for our retreat. Thank you!

Beautiful house. A few drawbacks.

  • 4 of 5

It's huge and lovely. There are some drawbacks, however. The neighborhood has restrictive covenants, limiting the number of cars and the amount of noise. The path down to the beach is pretty steep, and if there has been any rain will be quite slippery. The kitchen has a terrible stove and the ovens don't work well, and the grill totally blows.

Other than those drawbacks, however, it's a great place. It was clean when we arrived, there were plenty of towels and amenities, and frankly I have never stayed somewhere so beautiful.

Beautiful home

  • 4 of 5

We loved the house and the view, and our family had a wonderful time. Things that keep this from being a 5 star: you might talk to your cleaning crew about grit on the floor and sand swept into corners; the trail to the beach is a bit challenging; the beautiful hardwood stairs need some kind of tread for safety (one of us slipped and fell). Yes, we would stay there again. Thanks!
