Enjoy the peaceful mountain views and parcial ocean view fully equipped and air conditioned. Spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home. There is a lot to do in the area.
Nearby point of interest include; El Yunque 15 min, Hacienda Carabali 15 min, Kioskos de Luquillo 10 min, Hipódromo Horse Racing Track 25 min, Outlets Canovanas 25 min, Bioluminescence Bay 20 min, various beaches, jet skiing, kayaking, fly boarding, ATV, zip lining and boat tours. The ferry terminal to Culebra or Vieques is 25 minutes away.
*Disclaimer- home is not handicapped accessible. Power can go out in the island at anytime due to the outdated electrical infrastructure. Security cameras are outdoor only (front driveway, rear door and carport).

Great location for fun!

Nice house that can easily accommodate 6 or more people. Very close to the national forest El Younque, Fijardo beach, ferry to Vieques and Culebra is a short drive. Many great restaurants and bars easily within a 5-10 minute drive. The only issue that wasn't an issue for me was the super steep driveway. Once under the house in the carport its totally flat and enough room for 4-5 vehicles. The home had enough basics plates, pans and utensils for the average cook to utilize. The grill was nice and worked as it should. Price per stay was fair. Would stay here again my next trip to Puerto Rico.

Christmas in the mountains!

Our first stay in PuertoRico! Overall, we absolutely loved this house. Driveway is a bit intimidating however, we did get use to it! Also there is no oven which was easily to work around! The rest of the kitchen was great! The house was clean, great water pressure, and well stocked! The beds were comfortable. I appreciate the beach towels and chairs! The back patio was very relaxing and the kids loved the games! The grill was setup great and also very clean! Host seemed very sweet and was so thoughtful of our kids! It is a convenient location to Yunque, beach, grocery stores, kayaking, etc!!

It was fine for what it was. Some maintenance problems but it was clean. Just one suggestion. The pillows were the most uncomfortable pillows any of us had ever had. They werd way too high and stiff. I might suggest changing them because none of us could use them. The power went out but the manager had plenty of suggestions!

Good location but be careful

It's hard for me to write a bad review (I never did before) but I would like to point out a few things to future travelers. It wasn't our first accommodation in Puerto Rico, so we know what to expect. Only two of the three bedrooms have air conditioning, the third bedroom has a ceiling fan, the kitchen only has hotplates and no oven. We only had cold water - no water came out of the hot tap (a real problem for us because we were traveling with our 80 year old parents). There must have been water damage in the house at some point, because the bottom of the bathroom door was so swollen that it couldn't be closed. The windows in the master bedroom were broken. Last but at least, we had cockroaches in the bedroom. Even the owner told us the area is safe, it didn't seem trustworthy. (broken cars, a lot of rubbish on the street) All in all, I would still like to say that the conversation with the owner were very good. We also had the impression that she tried very hard to make everything as lovingly as possible (some new furniture, beautifully decorated). However, we left after the first night, even we had booked for 5 nights.
