Final trip before school

We LOVED our visit! The condo was perfect and fit all of our needs perfectly and the area was so much fun and relaxing. We were able to go to the sea lab and Fort Gaines. At the beach we saw dolphins, sting rays, crabs, and fish. The pool was super nice. One of our favorite family vacations so far.

Amazing

The host has thought of everything you might need. The kitchen was fully stocked with all eating and cooking utensils. More than plenty of towels for a family. Location was great, it was a short walk to the beach but managable, about 2 minutes on board walk and another 4 minutes to beach.

Peace and Quiet on the Beach

We were looking for a quiet place to get away and just relax. We wanted a place with an unobstructed water view and easy access to the beach. This place was perfect for us! The kitchen was functional, the bed was comfy, everything was clean. The patio chairs were worn, but were still functional -- we spent a lot of time sitting out there drinking coffee. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return.

Great Decision!

I had never even heard of Dauphin Island until I started searching Gulf Shores, and realized how expensive and touristy it was. I looked west and found the island. It is like a hideout with plenty to do. Everything is paced slower, and this accommodates people looking to ‘just relax.’ Everything you need is there and only 40 mins from airport in Mobile.

The Inn 310

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Not much to do in the area. Condo had a strange smell entire time. Cleaning could have been better.

Great venue for enjoying the beach (which was our primary reason for visiting). As a handyman, my observations are through a more critical lens. The entry gate was non-existent (don't know how long it has been that way). Batteries need to be replaced in the clocks in the unit. The crown molding needs to be caulked at the ceiling in the living area. That being said, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The grandkids loved searching the waters for crabs, jelly fish, etc. as well as the swimming pool(s).

Relaxing and quite....

When not on the beach we spent our time on the balcony....although the inside of the condo is nice also! HahaThe condo is spacious and decorated nicely and also very quite....which is what we were hoping for. I would definitely bring my family back to stay here again!!!

Beautiful trip

This is a beautiful property. We had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. We enjoyed a lot of time sitting on the deck, lounging by the pool, and hanging out on the beach. The weather was perfect at mid to high 70s. The property and beach wasn’t crowded this time of year since schools are still in session. The property is clean and well maintained. The only suggestion we have is that the balcony furniture needs replacing since they are damaged from salt air and heavy usage. We would recommend this property and would consider booking again in the future.

Nice vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was nice and great for my family of 4. The kitchen was poorly equipped. The pools were fantastic and beach view was beautiful. Patio door in master would not open and patio door in living room was nearly impossible to open/close.

We had an amazing stay! Would return. Amenities exactly as described. Luckily one of the pools was heated the week we visited it was too cold to go in the ocean. The kids had a blast in the pool and nice clean beach. Great sunsets. Our only issue was being locked out of our room. The door system malfunctioned. Luckily it was easy to reach someone at 5:30 to come and manually open the door. The main room furniture was well worn/tired. Could use a good cleaning or upgrade.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Inn at Dauphin Island is our go to spot for vacation. This unit (310) specifically does not need anything! It’s perfect. Super comfortable and well maintained with an amazing view of the gulf. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit for many reasons but most of all, because of the view and comfort. I would highly recommend The Inn and unit 310 to anyone wanting to relax with the sounds of the beach and the two pools on property. Well done again! 13 years in a row and many more to come.

Clean with great ocean views

The unit was cute and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Couches showed some wear but were nice enough. Kitchen had everything you could need. There were some pool and beach toys available in the unit which was a nice touch. Free in unit washer and dryer were super nice to have. The pools were nice and not at all crowded. The building was quiet and everyone seemed respectful of building rules and quiet hours, which is great when traveling with young kids. The beach is lovely and easily accessible with the boardwalk. The only drawback to the building is the air conditioning units are on the beach side of the building and they drown out the noise of the ocean which was a disappointment. Dauphin Island is a quiet, kind, and nice place to visit with no crazy spring breakers. Overall we had a great stay!

Small-town beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my 1st time staying in dauphin island! I took my mom (she's 56)...her sister and my son (he's 6). We all loved it and WILL return. We've stayed in gulf shores before but this condo was a perfect spot for us. We live in a very small town in Tennessee so we liked the small-town vibe!!! We prefer laid-back beach over the hustle and bustle of more "touristy" beaches lol ONE major hazard : the threshold between the balcony and living room. EVERYONE but me actually fell over the sliding door track. It's raised about 2 inches from the floor. Maybe this is a design flaw of the whole building and not just this specific condo. My child fell going out to the balcony & got pretty scratched up. My mom tripped over it coming in from the balcony and fell all the way down on the tile floor which is alarming for her condition. Be ALERT for this issue. We actually put 2 of the rugs on top of the track when we were in the condo to prevent such a harsh obstacle.Other than that, I know We would DEFINITELY rent this place again. The view from the 3rd floor is amazing. Hope to visit again next year 💙

Great Stay On Dauphin Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time choosing to stay in The Inn 310. It always is extremely clean and the facility is well kept. Beach area is beautiful with very little waves so a fantastic beach for children. We go for the beach and birding twice a year. The pools are well maintained and hardly used the weeks we’ve been there. My only suggestion would be for the refrigerator drain to be repaired. It leaked all over the inside of the refrigerator just like it did in 4/22 when we stayed in 310. It’s a small thing but was aggravating. I’m not a fan of the new deck chairs that are very tall. If you have children or if you have mobility issues you will need to bring chairs to sit on the deck.But again, that’s a very small issue. We’ll definitely be back and we’ll probably choose 310 again.
