This elegant, classy home is steps from the sand. Located on a very desirable, south-end walk street, only two short blocks to town. Enjoy fantastic ocean, Catalina to Malibu panoramic views. Watch the dolphins all day long, enjoy the sunset and watch the pier lights come on every evening. Five minutes walk to some of the best restaurants in Los Angeles. Beach living at its finest with water sports, fine dining and shopping at your door step.

Welcoming and comfortable 3500 sq. ft., three story home with elevator. Designed in a non-typical beach style, elegant and luxurious.

First floor: Walk street patio, large guest room with queen size bed and private bath. Outdoor shower into bath from the side walkway. Media room/office with cozy sectional, a fun place for two kids to sleep. Two car garage. Elevator to all floors.

Second Floor: Living room with fireplace, dining room, gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook, balconies, powder room. Some views from all rooms.

Third Floor: Large master bedroom suite and deck with fabulous views of the sand, white water, the coast from Palos Verdes to Malibu, the Manhattan Beach pier and Catalina. Master tub and shower both offer great views as you bathe. Third bedroom with queen bed and private bath. Has the same terrific views. Laundry.

This was an amazing house to stay for a 6 week visit. MB center is super convenient (6 blocks) and the sand is only 3 houses away. Communications with Mary (owner) was easy and we had no problems of any type on our visit. We hope to come back soon!

perfect in every way

My husband and I brought our family of 7 here to Manhattan Beach last Summer for a week, and we stayed in this beautiful home! It had absolutely everything that you would ever want- or could even think of -in a beach vacation home. Mary, the home owner is lovely and very accommodating and helpful. Steps from the sand, to downtown shopping and restaurants...there is absolutely no reason to ever get into your car! To us, comfort is very important, and this home is so comfortable, whether sleeping in bed or just sitting on any chair, sofa or on the patio! Super comfy!! We will definitely be back!

Special Place to stay

We have stayed here several times and keep coming back because the home is so special. It's 2 blocks form the ocean (with incredible view of the sunset) and also very close to town, where all the great shops and restaurants of MB await your patronage! The owner is a decorator so the decor is elegant and inviting, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. I can't recommend this highly enough. You will be delighted!

Manhattan Beach Dream

I had an amazing time in Manhattan Beach and it would not have been the same without such a beautiful place to stay. Incredible views of the ocean where we could see dolphins, sailboats, the pier and even Catalina! It's practically on the sand and only a few blocks from town. The host, Mary, was exactly what you would want from a host. She was sweet, friendly and there if we needed anything. There is so much to do in town, which we walked to day and night. Great restaurants, bars, people watching and shopping. I can not wait to come back!

AMAZING MANHATTAN BEACH RENTAL

My girlfriends and I had the best time renting this home for a week. The views are spectacular and watching the sunset every evening from inside was one of our favorite parts of our stay! The house is two houses up from the sand and three blocks from the town that has amazing shops, restaurants and the pier. The house is so close to everything which makes it really easy to walk everywhere. The hostess Mary, was extremely accommodating and made you feel right at home. Everything far exceeded our expectations and we all agree that it was the perfect trip! Anyone would be lucky to stay here whether it is with your family, spouse or friends!

PERFECT Manhattan Beach Location!!

We just spent one week in this beautiful home, and it was absolutely perfect. If you are not familiar with the area, the location is unbeatable. You are 50 yards from the sand, so you have the beach access without the strand noise. You are a few blocks from downtown, where you'll find wonderful restaurants, shops, and the pier. 2 car parking and an in-home elevator were a nice bonus! Not only is the owner a very considerate and easy person to work with, but she made herself available should we need anything during our stay. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

MANHATTAN BEACH VACATION

We had the pleasure of renting this very comfortable private home in August, 2011. The house was incredibly well appointed, close to the beach and boardwalk and, the hostess Mary, was so gracious, accommodating, and we were immediately made to feel right at home. She provided lots of information about local shopping and restaurants. Overall everything was above and beyond our expectations in every way. We were so impressed by the stay!!! We loved it! We hope to go back again.

Simply the best! An unforgettable vacation home, world class, heaven on earth!

We are a family of five (three children 6, 11,15). The home and the location truly are perfect for every age. The views are fantastic and the master bedroom view is positively breathtaking. We found ourselves mesmerized and almost unwilling to leave the master bedroom! The posted photos are stunning and accurate; yet, do not do this home justice. You must stay and experience the home to believe heaven on earth really does exist. The decor is stunning throughout the home. Everything we needed was there for us, everything. We were fulfilled and relaxed. The owners have titled this property listing appropriately. Elegant, Panoramic Views, Steps to beach and town! I could go on and on about our time in this home. I travel the world for work and my time with my family is precious. Our time and money was well spent in this home. Now a bit about the owners...Mary and Doug are wonderful, warm, friendly, welcoming, respectful of privacy and available if you need them. The home and owners are equally impressive and fantastic. Mary and Doug know how to accommodate guests and you really feel like a guest of their family. You will not regret booking this home – if you can get it before I book again! ;-)

More than a home away from home, or a beach vacation, or a dream get-away--this place is Heaven.

This home and its location are unsurpassed, a world class place to spend anytime. We were there in the summer and being able to just run right down to the beach in a couple of minutes, carrying towels, unbrella, food, etc. delighted all of us. Then, you can just run up to the house and grab anything you forgot. Now, the home itself is not a beach house. It is a gorgeously appointed, luxury home. We experienced more ammenities than we actually have in our own home. The views are stunning, the rooms are decorated stunningly. We sat in the master bedroom every evening to watch the sunset over the Pacific with our wine and appetizers. I know I'm gushing, but I could run out of superlatives to describe this vacation dream house.

Luxurius Getaway

My wife and I stayed here in January and it was everything we expected. The house is more beautiful then we could have imagined. The location is great. Only a few steps to the beach and a few steps to shopping.We especially enjoyed the viewes from the house at sunset and the owner was very accommadating.

Oh My God. It was a great vacation. The house was so comfortable and elegant. The view from the master bedroom sitting area was awsome. We loved watching the sunset every evening. I have spent several vacations in this amazing house and if you are looking for a complete get-away by the sea with every amenity imaginable, this is the house for you. The upstairs view of the ocean is remarkable, especially at sunset.
