About the property

2 Bedroom Home Close To Ocean Beaches!

Explore the wonders of Ptown by day and relax by a roaring fire in the evening. 'Starboard Sea' is nestled within the trees.

It’s a free-standing cottage, and has a lot of outdoor space with privacy. The home is decorated simply and elegantly using stylish furniture, interesting objects, and art. 'Starboard Sea' has a Zen quality to it; peaceful, and mindful. The first floor is open, windows on all sides allow sunlight to pour in. The kitchen is open to the dining area and that is open to the side deck where you can host dinner for 12 to 14 people. The back garden is on a lower level which has a seating area perfect as a reading nook. The front deck has multiple seating options that include chaise lounges and cushioned chairs where you can take in the sun, all surrounded by hedges and trees. Back inside on the second floor are two bedrooms which have nice separation giving privacy. The master bedroom has a TempurPedic king sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed. There is only air conditioning in the master bedroom. The bathroom on this level has a Jacuzzi tub with hand held shower. The first floor bathroom features a shower. Here you will be just 200 yards from the entrance to National Seashore bike trails with walking trails through the beautiful Beach Forest preserve, and at the end of the trails, Race Point Beach. Around the corner, walking distance, is Yoga East (Cape's #1 rated Yoga Studio), and a beautiful garden nursery.

At this cottage you won’t be wakened by loud late night people, or by early morning restaurant deliveries. The center of town is an easy bike ride, many people walk too. But mostly you’ll love the delicious ability to relax and unwind! I’ve represented other rentals near this home and everyone was so appreciative of the location. This is the first time this cottage has been offered for rent, book now to reserve the best week of your summer!

We fell in love with this house as soon as we walked through the gate. It's a charming retreat. The owners have every amenity you need. Stylish, comfortable inside and out. We were able to cook and dine outside on the wrap around deck. Some days we did not want to leave the house, enjoy sitting outside on the deck or the patio near the peaceful pond.

We will definitely return and recommend this home to friends.

A Gem You'll Come Back to Again & Again

Clean, bright, peaceful, perfect location, easy parking. We could not have been more pleased about staying in an "unseen" place. It not only feels like home, it's a getaway you'll wish were your home!

Beautiful home and perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

Each summer we rent for a week in Provincetown. Historically we are snuggled in with the crowds “downtown.” This home caught our eye, decided to switch up our location we are so thrilled with the choice. This house is a gem. Spacious. Bright, the outdoor space is like having a second living/dining room. The home is very comfortable, stylish, high end appointments.

We hosted dinner a few nights, enjoyed the café al fresco styled dining area. We thought where in town can we host dinner for 10 people, outside!!

Each morning we enjoyed a delightfully vigorous bike ride through the beach forest, the start of the trail is 100 yards away!

The last fews days we decided to enjoy post beach cocktails on the deck, we could not have been happier.

This was one of our favorite weeks!

Great get away!

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I have been coming to Provincetown forever but for the past few years we haven't wanted to stay anywhere else. Nicely appointed, quiet and peaceful, bright and airy, the Starboard Sea has ample space for us to spread out and entertain while being a quick walk to go out on Commercial Street / Bay beaches. Easy access to Ocean Beaches and lovely Beech Forest too. Can't say enough good things.
