About the property

2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Cottage On The Pamlico River In Washington NC

Discover the inner banks at the Pamlico Social Club. Our sweet little river cottage has historic charm with updated modern amenities and superb southern exposure. We're banking on you loving our beautiful river views & pier updates. On the street side, we are bordered by a mature pecan grove and have views of the adjacent inlet. Sleeping accommodations include two bedrooms, one with king size bed. The larger bedroom has a queen bed, & a bunk bed. Our living room has a mega comfortable 8 foot couch. Our kitchen facelift includes great cabinets & we are especially stoked about our brand new dishwasher. If it's a fishing expedition you have in mind, we have a great pier and boat dock with lift. Test the waters and venture out after the fall run on striped bass, water ski, catch crabs from the pier, or just sit on the porch and take in the river view. We recommend that you shop at nearby Piggly Wiggly & test the fine cuisine at The Bank Bistro and Bar on Main Street. Explore all little Washington has to offer. Don't forget to explore the music in the streets during the summer season. FYI boat is not part of the package!

Great family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful place for family to relax! Grandkids(ages 9 & 6) thought it was awesome with the water at the backdoor! Enjoyed the secluded

street for bikes. This was our second year at this location. The neighbors were very friendly and accommodating.

PS. There is a WELCOME yard flag on the kitchen counter that was found lying in the street yesterday. We do not know who it belongs to, maybe one of the next door neighbors.

Beautiful Home on the River

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful little house on the river, perfect for families or anyone wishing for some peaceful days. There's a kayak, and plenty of large open windows for those who want to watch the fun from the air-conditioned comfort of the living room. The well-stocked kitchen, two bathrooms (with handheld shower wands for washing kids' hair), speedy wi-fi, and laundry facilities left us wanting for nothing. We had a lovely time, and are sure to return.

Amazing place. A must stay if you're considering this area.

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing 2-1/2 weeks here and didn't want to leave. This residence provides you with the total package. Outdoors, amazing views in the back to relax and wake up to, and just an absolute beautiful atmosphere overall. Who would think of seeing pods of DOLPHINS right in your backyard? It wasn't even on our minds but we experienced it several times and it blew my family and I away. We kayaked in the back as well. We grilled out back also and the sunset views at dinner time was exceptional. Beautiful front yard as well on a quiet seldom traveled dead end road. I can go on and on. This place is a must stay if you're considering visiting this area. We will definitely be back!

Sam and family.

Absolutely Beautiful!

  • 4 of 5

This waterfront cottage is steps from the Pamlico River with a boat dock and pier. You can watch a waterman fish his crab pots from your window and dump the Jimmie's into his baskets. Fish are jumping, birds are diving into the water for fish and dolphins hunt in the waters in front of the house. There were gardenia bushes in the front, a huge fig tree and palm trees. The accommodations were comfortable and charming. Wifi service was fast and dependable. So quiet with just the birds singing and an occasional low blast the the train far off. We loved Washington and this house and we'll be back!

Plenty to do in the Washington area. Many historic buildings. Two of our favorite places to walk are the Oakdale & Episcopal Cemeteries. Just walking the riverfront and touring the Estuarium is a great way to enjoy the Main Street scene. Don't overlook the many talented artisans that make Little Washington a great community. Visit the Inner Banks Artisans Gallery on Main Street while you're in town.
