Hot Tub Rules

1. No glass or food in the hot tub area.
2. Children MUST be supervised by an adult. No children under the age of two.
3. Limit your soak to 30 minutes.
4. Do not use while intoxicated.
5. Please shower prior to use to rinse off oils and lotions. These build up and cause foam and a scum line and damage the filter.
6. No jumping or diving.
7. Maximum capacity 5 people.
8. Replace the cover and secure it after use.
9. No sitting or putting any weight on the cover.
10. Swimwear required.
11. No adding of chemicals to hot tub unless directed by owner.

Lock the doors
Full trash bags can be placed in the garbage can in the bin out in front of the big porch. If they're not full, please leave them in the unit so we can add to them as we clean.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Anyone on the property needs to be listed on the reservation.
Violation of the pet rule or smoking in the house will result in a $400 fine.
Stays longer than 28 days require signing a lease.

The Appalachian Haven cabin was as described! A beautifully decorated residence that provided us a couple days of rest and relaxation. The owners also include well thought out personal touches throughout the cabin to make our stay even more memorable. The kitchen is well stocked with necessary items to make our stay completely stress free while the beds were very comfortable. In the evening we much enjoyed the interior fire place and large front deck during the day. We will definitely stay their again in our future travels to WV.

Stayed three nights in April. Beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, clean, quiet, everything you could need right there. Information about your host, how to use TV, fireplace, Jetted tub, etc. explained to you in a informative booklet. Decorated with sport themes was very attractive. All in all can't say enough. We're West Virginia natives! We love the scenic beauty of our home state. We most enjoy helping our guests make memories and introducing them to West Virginia!

We enjoy traveling to warm places and we've been known to ski in a former life! We just recently sold our boat that we've had for 25 years or so, so we're looking for our next way to spend time together.

Why they chose this property

The cabin sits on a hill looking over a beautiful mountain view. The views near the cabin are some of the best in the area, and that's saying something! The cabin is about 15 minutes from two different local breweries, 35 minutes to the Wisp, 15 minutes to mountain biking trails and kayak put-in, but once you sit on the porch swing, you may not want to leave!
