It was cute and clean and in a convenient location. We do wish they had had a few games to play or even pickle-ball paddles as it is so close to the park, but overall it was a nice stay.

Nice property. Good location close to the main strip. Beds were comfortable although the bed frame in the multi bed room was very noisy keeping the other guests awake. Kitchen was well equiped. We would come back to the rental for sure.

It is a great location. Close to good food and shops. We had what we needed there. We went to north beach, but it was only about a 20 minute drive.

What started as an exciting chance to possibly see the aurora borealis turned into a stay best described as beautiful… and very cold.The positives first: the home is clean and aesthetically pleasing inside. Unfortunately, the interior temperature never rose above 66F, even as outside temperatures dropped into the low teens. While stylish, the home struggled to stay warm in winter conditions.There are two electric wall-mounted fireplace heaters (one in the front room and one in the master bedroom) and one portable heater, which suggests the hosts were already acutely aware of the home’s heating limitations. Despite this, one of the king bedrooms was too cold to sleep in, and guests had to use the smaller bedroom with two queen beds to accommodate a warmer sleeping area, where the portable heater ran all night. Sleeping with doors shut was manageable, but stepping into the living room and kitchen in the morning felt like walking into a deep freeze!Check-in is 4:00 PM and checkout 10:00 AM. The hot tub was not ready upon arrival; we later received an email explaining it needed to be manually adjusted. In winter, it would be reasonable to expect it to be ready at check-in. Due to this we could use it! Other notes:Guests are asked to take trash to the city park (Garden City Park) instead of having an on-site container.While the inside is lovely, the outside feels neglected. The stairs are poorly constructed, have holes, and could be considered a safety hazard!
This room looks really nice for a freezer! As us can see it wasn't used!
Was this vanity worth not be able to sit on the toilet?

The positive is that the interior of this home is very nicely put together and is clean. There are some minor items that need maintenance/attention (like grout and dishwasher mounting), but the remodel is really cute and functional/comfortable. The exterior, however was terrible. The back area for the hot tub was useless and there were so many weeds knee high you couldn’t sit at the outdoor table, nor would you want to. There are wasp nests in front and in back surrounding the porches that swarmed when we tried to hang wet suits on the back rail. The front entrance of the home also was covered in weeds and looked like it was sagging. Overall the exterior needs some serious TLC, interior is pretty good and was updated well.

The home was just the right size for our needs and desire to have a relaxing weekend. The proximity to the park was perfect for the kids. We felt at ease and comfortable in Themis cute home in Garden City.
