⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
Hale Mahina Resort does not have air conditioning. Each room has ceiling fans and benefits from the natural trade-wind breezes. Jalousie windows allow for excellent cross-ventilation throughout.

PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

HAWAIʻI CLIMATE: Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports a variety of island wildlife including geckos, ants & occasional roosters. Despite regular pest control, these are part of normal island living. Our units are carefully cleaned and inspected, and any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refund or adjustment.

Unit was clean and well appointed. Needs another TV in one of bedrooms. There was a temporary manager whi was very nice, kept grounds clean but in 11 days never once vacuumed elevator which has rug floor and was filty. Know this isnt VRBO problem but first thing you see in building was not appealing. This was our 7th time to Hale Mahina so we jnew this wasnt representing of building.

Lovely condo on the beach

This is a lovely place. It was at the end of our trip so we only got to enjoy it for a few days but wished we could stay longer. Practically on the beach, beautiful views and friendly people.

We have stayed at the Hale Mahina more than once, always a great spot. This particular condo was very nice. Fit our family of 4 perfectly. Other family members rented condos on the same floor and we had a blast.

Great location!

Easy access to so many places. Loved the private beach feel. So many sea turtles and good snorkeling. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. It fit our family of 6 very well.

Loved the Fish House Condo. This location is awesome. It is so close to the ocean…we slept with the sliding doors open to snooze to waves crashing. Close to everything. It was fully equipt and totally comfortable! Would 100% stay again!

Wonderful location and lots of turtles

We had a great visit. House had an amazing view and was well stocked. The only thing we wished was there was a sun shade for the patios afternoon sun. Other than that it was a perfect vacation.

We had an amazing time at the fish condo. The beach was just few steps from the condo and the sound of crashing waves will put you to sleep. The property was super clean which was our priority given we were travelling with a kid. We had an amazing time for the 4 nights we stayed there. Highly recommend

Love the fish condo

We loved the location of the fish condo! The place, beach and pool were perfect for our family of 4. It does get pretty warm during the day but Mike provides several fans and opening the windows offers a nice breeze. We would absolutely stay again.

Love the Hale Mahina

We enjoyed very much our stay at the Hale Mahina - once again. The fish condo was in a great location and stocked with all the things one would need on vacation. Lots of extras in the condo make it a home away from home. Certainly in good shape overall the condo could benefit from a renovation. We loved it and would stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at the Fish condo! The location Ian absolutely stunning - amazing views off the lanai. The condo was beautiful and very clean - had all of the amenities and more. First time in Maui - Perfect Location

It’s the perfect place to stay. Even though your sharing the grounds with other people, you don’t hear anything. Even with kids around. A great place for a family trip, girls trip, any kind of trip. The place was spotless, and has everything you could possibly want inside. The beds were amazing, and the location was perfect for everything we could want to do. I definitely would like to return to this spot, it was the best.

Really nice, smaller condo complex. Enjoyed time in the condo, lanai, and property. Good support services, stores nearby. View was awesome, well organized and considered. Highly recommend..except for future dates,when we want to go back.

Amazing!

This place is awesome pics are exactly like it. You have everything you need here. Much is provided like laundry soap dishwasher soap etc. The beach is perfect! We saw turtles and a seal! Wonderful lanai so sit and watch the ocean and sunset. Very quiet complex! Owner very responsive!

Paradise Found

The Fish Condo was the best spot in Maui and the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in! It was spacious for two couples with a bedroom downstairs and king bed with bathroom in the loft- full bedroom up there. Comfortable beds and views of the ocean. The photos don’t do it justice. It was clean and quiet. Perfect spot/ easy to drive through West Maui. Private beach with turtles every day! We will only stay here on future trips to Hawaii!

Very nice place

We had a great time. The location was great. The condo is really nice. It was a bit warm and AC is needed especially upstairs. The view was amazing and the complex is clean. The kitchen tools were mostly good, could use a kettle for tea. The snorkeling goggles were all broken and could not be used. Overall, really nice time.

Wonderful westerly ocean views!!

We loved the ocean views and the beach! The condo was very nicely appointed and included a lot of extras that you usually need to buy, so that was very nice. Our only issue was the lack of air conditioning. Even with the windows open at night, it got pretty warm a few nights which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Even with that said, we would stay in the Fish Condo again!

Amazing Beachfront Condo!

My family and I loved our time at the condo. The view is unbeatable. We loved the private beach and swimming pool. The location is great - just a few minutes drive from plenty of stores/restaurants. The only issue that came up during our stay was that one of the beach chairs we left on the beach went missing after we left it there for a couple of hours, so would advise to not leave things on the beach unattended to. Mike was a great host - the condo had all the essential amenities and then some. I appreciated his responsiveness to questions. Would love to stay again in the future.

Beautiful view

The rental was great. The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset. The pool and Hot tub were convenient and nicely located next to the beach. The beach was clean and fairly private. We saw turtles every day. People were friendly. Good location not too far from Lahaina. Downfall was no air conditioning. We did our best to get air flow thru the condo but it was definitely steamy. Overall, though, I would recommend staying here.

Perfect!

The Fish Condo was the best property we have ever stayed in on Maui. The pictures online were spot on and the Aloha feel resonates once you are there. It was perfect for us and our daughter and grandson, size wise. The beach, grass area, pool and hot tub greeted us like a personal back yard. Our grandson played with new friends he made all week which made our stay even more memorable. And our Turtle Buddies resting on the beach 4 out of 7 days- such a treat! Larry, the property manager was very warm and a fountain of info when needed. We will be back!!
