Beautiful 1920s home in a quiet, safe and picturesque neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach. Everything a family or decent size group would want or need in a residential setting. Very nice home with early 20th century feel. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent VRBO property. The garage is well stocked with a variety of beach supplies which is amazing. The bikes were perfect with a variety of sizes. You have easy access to the harbor and the beach so you can spend lots of time on the water. The owner has the house well stocked with linens and beach towels. The outdoor area and outdoor grill are great! She also has the kitchen well stocked with everything you could need to cook and prepare food. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Brief LA weekend getaway

Felt the need for a fall weekend getaway from the LA area. Had a wonderful time ulrelaxing in the house, walkimg the neighborhood and beach. There was a cute farmers market we visited. The house also had games and beach equipment in great condition that we took advantage of as well. Will definitely plan to repeat in future stays in the area.

It really is a Spanish Jewel!

Everything from booking to check out was a smooth and seamless experience! This property is stunning! The decor is beautiful and the spaces are set up perfectly for families! The cupboard under the stairs was a huge hit! We loved the outdoor patio spaces as well! It was soooo nice having access to extra towels, laundry room, and all the beach toys and bikes!!! The communication was amazing and they were super helpful! I stay at a lot of rentals and this one was top notch! We had the best time here!

Everything about the "Spanish Jewel" exceeded expectation. Beautiful, clean, well appointed beach home on a gorgeous peninsula with delightful harbor with sea lions on one side, pristine beach on the other. We watched dolphins cross the channel each morning. The garage is packed with everything you'd need on s beach or boardwalk. All equipment is perfectly maintained. Every cupboard and drawer's contents seem curated to anticipate the guests need/wants. The every bed totally comfortable and each linen clean and ridiculously soft! Can not say enough good about this little jewel! Our host Zoey is a delight! It was fun to get to know her a little through the books that she's collected in her small but impressive Library . A real treasure for sure!

Charming, cozy and well appointed

What a wonderful property! A vintage home that is well taken care of. There are many beds in this house and every one had a nice memory foam mattress, quality linens and pillows. (this is a biggie for me). Plenty of space for everyone and a nice large dining table to gather around. The bicycles were a very nice touch!! Host was very communicative and everything was as listed. Will definitely be saving this one for a future visit!

We booked this house for an overnight trip with my husband's family and included grandparents, their three children, myself, a 13 year old niece, and our 3 year old son. And despite the variety of needs a group of that type might have, this house exceeded all expectations. My sister in-law referred to it an 11 out of 10 house!While the footprint of the house is not large, the spaces are well allocated and utilized. Four ample rooms, a central living room, dining table that fit all of us, plus outdoor space. We loved being able to cook on the grill, appreciated the outdoor shower to get off the sand, and found the amenities to be really lovely. The bikes, beach chairs, wagon, and boogie boards were all used, and it was such a help to not have to bring any of that. Not to mention the house was fully stocked with plenty of beach and bath towelsThe location was great: even though it wasn't right on the beach, it was just around the corner. Now my side of the family wants to come here! I'm sure we'll be back in the future.
