Ocean Front Beach House Right on the Sand

This charming beach house is located right on the sand and has incredible enormous ocean and islands views extending all the way to the nearby Channel Islands! This Coastal Sunset Beach House is very large and comes fully equipped with everything you could ever need to enjoy the uncrowded beach.

3 floors/levels home with bedrooms on every level of 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, dining area, 3 large outdoor private decks facing the ocean, fully equipped kitchen on main floor and a propane BBQ on downstairs beach deck. The top 3rd floor bedroom suite's king bed has spectacular unobstructed ocean view allowing you to wake up looking at the sea from your bed!

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
The house comfortably sleeps many persons with 3 king beds, 2 queen beds, 1 double bunk bed and 1 queen sleeper sofa/futon bed, and 1 small single pull out sleeper sofa beds. All the mattresses are comfy and suitable for adults. A portable cot bed is also available.

Two Fireplaces one on the first floor and the other on the second floor to make you warm and comfy!

The house has all the toys and gadgets you will need to be entertained and comfortable. Large 55' screen TV in 1rst floor downstairs living room with DVD player, 28' flat screen TV in downstairs bedroom, 3 DVD players with DVD's to watch are included, Large 55' screen TV in 2nd floor living room with Blu Ray DVD player, 1 TV in 2nd floor and 1 TV in 3rd floor master bedrooms, wireless internet, cable, radio/cd player, books to read while you relax, karaoke machine, many children's toys, board games, 16 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, 2 beach lounge chairs.

The garage has beach toys and surf boards, all available for guest use including two boats, kayak, windsurfer, water fins, 6 boogie boards, 2 surf boards, 1 stand up paddle board, wet suits in various sizes, 4 bicycles, air hockey, ping pong and Foosball tables, badminton, beach tennis, smash ball set, horseshoe set, frisbee, volleyball, football, soccer balls, fishing pole/tackle, beach balls and children sand toys. Outside the house on the sand, you will find a beach volleyball court and a lifeguard station.

A full-sized washer and dryer is also available on the 2nd floor to keep all your clothes and beach towels fresh for the next day’s fun!

The house is only a 1/2 mile from the Channel Islands Harbor, and many great walking to distance restaurants such as: Quincy's Street Steakhouse, Jetty Surf, Pepe's Mexican Food, and a convenience store.

THE AREA

Silver Strand Beach is a laid-back beach community where the weather is warm all year long and the sun comes out all year round.

Neighbor to the scenic Channel Islands, Channel Islands Harbor is a recreational harbor that offers fun-filled water activities for the whole family. Inside the harbor there are nine marinas, unique shopping, and great waterfront restaurants. The area is known for great beach walks, boating, surf, whale watching, windsurfing, kayaking, scuba diving, jet skiing, snorkeling, and fishing. There's plenty to see and do in Ventura County for people of all ages.

The Channel Islands National Park is located only eleven miles off shore. By boat it only takes 1 hour to take you on an exciting day-long excursion to Anacapa or Santa Cruz island. These islands are home to more than 2,000 plant and animal species - some found nowhere else on Earth such as the channel Fox. The whole family will be in awe by exploring these wondrous islands. If you can't make it out to the islands head to the Ventura Harbor for the Channel Islands visitors center and put your hands in the touch tank!

The sunrise and sunset views were absolutely priceless. While the house is a bit older in terms of amenities (as shown in the photos), the beach front location more than makes up for it. We’d happily stay here again.

Amazing location and lots of space. Comfortable and well stocked house. We had a nice weekend getaway with our teen kids and their friends, and Silver Strand is a great beach for hanging out, boogie boarding and watching the sunset.Minor bummers were that some of the outdoor chairs and umbrella were broken and a handful of dishes in the main kitchen weren’t clean.

The Best Beach Front Property for small groups!

This Place has served as a wonderful getaway for years now for our church youth group. It is the perfect place to get away and relax with the most beautiful beach views. Rain or shine, this place provides a cozy getaway with plenty of room to cook, play games, watch movies, and have great time with community!

First of all you can’t beat the location and the amount of beach toys chairs surfboards and viewsThe house itself was comfortable and clean but very dated. The signs everywhere told you what you could use and what you couldn’t use. Also several signs posted that areas were off limit due to a “work in progress”. The dishwasher failed on several tries and when we were checking out were told to put towels down on the second floor because it was going to rain and “the roofer could not come until “January”. So if you want an ocean front beach house that will sleep 10 and is clean enough to be healthy and dated enough to be a happy this one’s for you

very clean. well equipped . couldn't get any closer to the beach without pitching a tent in the sand. possibly a little overpriced but good chance we would stay there again. Great location. 3 story but we didn't even go up to the top. no need. a stair gate was provided to keep the little ones on just the first 2 floors.

Absolutely one of the best beach houses on the water. Huge home With all the toys you could want to play on land or in the water. The main living, kitchen area is fantastic for cooking & entertaining everyone! Plenty of space for all. . Was a total blast for the fourth of July! Definitely be staying here again !!

A wonderful place to stay, just needs some TLC.

We loved the location and overall amenities were very suitable. With a little love this place would be perfect. A few mattresses were a bit hard and uncomfortable, the patio furniture needs to be replaced, and the kitchen and bathrooms could use some updating. But the price was reasonable and you can't beat the location. The property manager was also very nice. We would stay here again.

Great Beach Stay

The house is exactly how the pictures show in the VRBO Listing. It was a great location and amazing beach and sunsets. The house was large enough for our family and we had such a great time. The house could use some upgrades including the ancillary listed items such as beach chairs that are mostly rusted or broken. We enjoyed our vacation and would stay again.

Why they chose this property

It is a great house with oceanfront views and has a great value your family will surely love! The best part of this house is the views of the beach, ocean and islands from the decks and most of the bedrooms, kitchen and living room as well as being on the wonderfully uncrowded Silverstrand Beach. This house is in the middle of the beach so it is like a private beach just for you. We have outdoor furniture for resting outside, listening to the waves and breathing the ocean air.

What makes this property unique

Centrally located between Malibu and Montecito, Santa Barbara with beautiful sandy uncrowded beaches, great restaurants and shopping to see all along the coast. The ultimate West Coast beach experience. Great year round weather.
