Newberry U.P. Cabin

Designed with families in mind, we hope our cabin tucked away on 13 wooded acres will be a restful retreat that launches your next U.P. adventure. Close to snowmobile trails! You will be an hour or less from all the most beautiful places in the eastern U.P., including Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. Have a true U.P. experience in our rustic, wood-fired sauna. Then make lasting memories around the fire, playing games, or doing puzzles together at this cozy cabin. Come visit further up north.



This is a UP cabin, so expect to possibly have some of the rustic experiences of a cabin. We professionally treat for bugs and pests but sometimes seasonally they still make an appearance.

The cabin was great- there was plenty of space for us to be together and to spread out. We enjoyed the sauna, and the kitchen was nicely equipped. The ping pong table was fun.

Everything was very clean. Kitchen had all utensils we needed to make several meals. We had 6 adults and 3 kids ages 2-7, and there was plenty of room for all of us.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is exactly as described. It was perfect for our family of 4 with lots of space to spread out. The location was very central to everything we wanted to see. Would book this home again when visiting the UP.

Great Place to Stay

The location was great. Secluded, yet not far from town. Newberry was not far away at all. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin was very user-friendly everything was easy to find. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard. Overall we had a very good time and would definitely go back.

House is great with two living areas, great sleeping areas, sauna is fun. Plenty of parking. First day we road 2 miles west in CR to trail. Second day trailered 15 miles to trail head north of mcmillian. Two full baths.

Authentic VRBOs are the BEST VRBOs!

Our group loved our stay @ the Newberry UP Retreat! The house was cozy, comfortable and perfectly located for attractions we wanted to visit in the UP. We appreciated the history this house shared with us... and it is sooo quiet. This house made our trip to the UP a notch better-- thanks for keeping the character of the house, but updating it to accommodate the 7 of us.

Perfect UP getaway

We stayed here with two families (4 adults, 5 kids) and had a beautiful mix of exploring the UP and just hanging out at the house. The backyard fire pit made for awesome summer nights. The huge property was pure adventure for the kids. One piece of advice for summer guests: bring mosquito repellent!!!

Property is just as described. Great place to ride out of for snowmobile riding, but for quads you have to ride a ways to the trails.
