Pick your Season Pick your Fun at Season Livin’! Come experience wild, wonderful, West Virginia year round at Deerfield Village Resort in beautiful Canaan Valley! Create your adventure or just come for a relaxing getaway- either way this is the perfect spot for you!
You will enjoy a fully equiped, cozy , 1 bedroom loft condo with a King Size bed, en-suite full bathroom upstairs and a 1/2 bath downstairs. We provide a fully stocked kitchen, coffee bar, wood burning fireplace, and deck with a grill. For additional sleeping needs there is a queen sleeper sofa.
Deerfield Village Resort is unique to the area boasting a large pool, catch and release fishing pond, play ground, basketball court, tennis court, sand volleyball, lovely circle for walking/riding bikes, and onsite BBQ restaurant.
Located on Bensland road, we are just off the main road from the local gas station/convenient mart and putt putt golf course.
Create your adventure with all the activities Canaan Valley has to offer - hiking, biking, mountain biking, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, tubing, golfing, swimming, fishing, walking, off-roading, hunting, rafting, paddleboarding and more!
Need to just get away? Come sit and enjoy the view with a good book, unwind while taking a peaceful walk in the resort or on one of the areas many nature trails. You can also lay by the pool, take a bike ride, enjoy the scenery, or take a short drive to Davis/ Thomas for some local shopping and cuisine.
We are located 10 minutes from Timberline Ski Resort and Canaan Valley State Park & Resort; 15mins to the quaint mountain towns of Davis WV and Thomas WV; 20 mins to Blackwater Falls; 30 mins to Seneca Rocks; 30 mins to Dolly Sods Wildnerness Area; 1 hr to Spruce Knob Mountain (highest ridge of Allegheny Mountains); 40 mins to Elkins, WV ( Forest Festival) and 45 mins to Smoke Hole Caverns.

The town of Davis and Thomas have many local artists shops, live musicians, restaurants and more!

Cozy and comfortable retreat is exactly correct. Unit was very clean and well maintained. Extremely well stocked with all the essentials, coffee bar was nice addition. Most amazingly, on 89 degree July days, the air conditioner unit was a huge welcomed surprise. Devon and Meghan were extremely helpful accommodating our late scheduling requests. A beautiful place to stay regardless of the season.

Great location. Nicely decorated and furnished. Our only complaints were that the back door to the deck wouldn't open and having to not only put a load of towels in the washer, but having to wait around and put them in the dryer before we could leave - not cool to make us do that on top of charging a 150 cleaning fee.

This place was the best we’ve stayed at in Davis. We come here 8-10 weekends per year. It was perfect for our family of 3. It was nicely appointed and there were little thoughtful things throughout the place like extra soft blankets and outlet extensions with USB-C, USB and extra outlets. We would definitely rent this place again.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location was perfect for our trip, making it easy to get around while still feeling quiet and relaxing. Megan was a great host: responsive, helpful, and easy to work with from start to finish. The condo was perfect for my husband and me. We enjoyed our four days away for some much needed rest and relaxation. The condo had everything we needed right down to the hair diffuser for my naturally curly hair! We even fought over the most cozy blanket while watching TV after our days of hiking :)

Perfect place for two!

The Condo was perfect! Megan was responsive and accommodating. The location was excellent for skiing at Whitegrass. The kitchen was very well supplied. It was clean, comfortable, convenient, and cozy!

My husband Devin and I love the Canaan Valley area. I grew up coming here as a child and my parents live in Canaan 6 months out of the year. We are born and raised in WV, currently living just south of Pittsburgh. Enjoying hiking, wildlife, skiing, golfing, and eating at the local restaurants in Davis and Thomas are some of what we love about coming here.
We love sharing our home with others and hope you enjoy making memories here just as much as we have.

We chose Deerfield Village Resort because it is a one of a kind location in Canaan Valley. It is the only location besides the lodge that has a pool, onsite restaurant, catch&release pond, basketball &volleyball court, walking circle, and on-site restaurant. This is a quiet safe neighborhood that ensures relaxation of all kinds.
