A beautiful unit thatâs unfortunately filthy & disgusting!
WARNING!!â ïž I rolled the dice on this unit because out of 4 reviews, 2 of them were very poor, mostly based on lack of cleanliness. Unfortunately, I would have to agree 100%. For an apparently "clean" and ready unit, the rental was absolutely filthy & disgusting as soon as we arrived. The natural light was coming in just right so you could see debris literally all over the floor. At that point, I started looking around the unit and found there to be dried urine streaks running down the outside front of the master toilet.. There's also dried urine around the locks for the toilet lid. Upon further inspection, we realized that that same toilet was extremely loosely mounted to the floor, so it literally rocks front to back when you sit on it. So we had to be extremely careful when sitting on it. Most surfaces had crumbs, debris, dirt or hair on them. When we unfolded the sofa bed that night, there was so much sand and crumbs all over the entire bed. It was nasty! Clearly the couch or bed wasn't vacuumed, cleaned, etc. When we went to go to bed, there were hairs all over, inside the master bed sheets. We couldn't even sleep in the sheets. We had to sleep on top of them because it was so gross. There were also multiple hairs found throughout the rental upon arrival. I have multiple pictures. They were found on dressers, the living room rug, in all the rooms on the floors, especially in the bathrooms. The kitchen counters had crumbs & something sticky near the toaster. When I moved the toaster, tons of crumbs went everywhere. When I went to use the coffee maker, the permanent filter had clearly not even been rinsed, let alone washed/cleaned. The floor wasn't even swept or vacuumed, let alone mopped. Some of us were barefoot and within minutes of arriving our feet were literally brown! It was so gross! It was VERY clear that very little effort was made in cleaning this unit. I would strongly encourage Vacasa to look into hiring a different cleaning company because youâre paying them to clean, but itâs definitely not happening. I texted guest services immediately upon arrival and went back and forth with them multiple times and was told I would be hearing from their âlocal teamâ to hopefully repair the toilet & address the severe lack of cleanliness. I never heard from said âlocal teamâ and nothing was resolved. By far my worst vacation rental experience. Do not recommend.
