We had a fabulous stay! The mountain views from the house were fantastic especially from the hot tub. The location was great in regards to the ski resort and downtown Ellicottville. Check in was easy and everything was very nice!

We had a great long weekend at The Maples. House comfortably slept all seven of us, and there was room for more (initially booked for 10, but a few couldn't make the trip with us). It's a secluded property, so it's very private, but it's a two minute drive into the main stretch of Ellicottville. It being winter, the hot tub was a major plus. Would definitely stay here again.

The driveway was VERY icy and dangerous and one of our guest fell. We could not find sheets for the fold out, and there were no extra trash bags. The amenities were very bare and wore. The location was good and there was enough room for all of us in our group.

We had a very bad ice storm during your stay. We made sure our plow person came by as soon as it was done to salt. I'm sorry you didn't think that was enough, I'll make sure to rethink how we deal with ice storms in the future, we have never in ten years had a problem with ice before and we will make sure we won't in the future.

This was our second time staying at Ryan’s place for our family vacation. The property was perfect for our large group and the house had plenty of space, bathrooms, and everything we needed. Check in was easy and Ryan responded quickly when we had a question. I would recommend this place to large families with pets!

We had a great time staying here. A bunch of guys got together for a bachelor party. We played games outside all weekend. The renovated farm was great at night for cornhole and other games. The only part we struggled with was shade. We brought canopies so we had some shade during the day. Place was clean and well-kept. Recommend staying here!

The property was fantastic, and the host was very responsive to questions. My only complaint was the gazebo and deck not being cleaned off and ready for use (but we fixed the gazebo with a few minutes of sweeping) and a broken board in the upper deck that will need to be reported, was fine for adults but we could not kids out there . The house itself was very clean, plenty of towels, hot tub was nice and the scenery was amazing.

10 min drive to Holiday Vally and downtown Ellicottville. Lots of room for a large group - easy to find and good communication from the owner. Basement was a bit cold bit the fireplace amd hottub were especially nice on the cold evenings

Yearly Family Vacation

"The Maples" house was exactly what we were looking for. We absolutely loved the mountain view in the great room and were pleasantly surprised how many people could comfortably fit in this room. We loved the layout of the kitchen, eating area & great room. When it got too noisy, people could cool off in the downstairs living room to watch TV or play hockey. The best part was being able to have our dogs run around the nicely maintained property as we fished, played frisbee & cornhole, enjoyed s'mores by the fire and grilled our dinner. We also enjoyed the hot tub and having 3 full bathrooms with all our family. We did lots of cooking and the owner made sure to leave our request of the crockpot, coffee pots, and anything else we needed. We set up the poker table in the smaller house by the pond for the late night crowd to play into the wee morning hours! There was plenty of parking for all of our cars in the front and back of the house. There was always a place for everyone to gather together and always a place to comfortably spread out and enjoy the home. Even with all the people, we never felt crowded. Thanks for sharing your home with us. It was truly our home away from home!

Close enough to our permanent home, but far enough away to feel on vacation every time we are there.
