Needs Owner Attention and More Disclosure
I realize that this unit is in the "budget" category for the location and number of beds. That proved to be so as far as condition and furnishings. But even so, it fell short. for basic things required of any VRBO. The mattress in the master bedroom was a "hammock" and needs to be replaced. A parking pass is needed and was not provided. We almost got towed! Make sure you get the hang tag since there is no guest parking in the entire complex. The refrigerator leaked. There were no trash bags provided. Many light bulbs are burned out. Nothing major, but the owner should stay there for a few weeks with some guests just so they can encounter the many minor maintenance issues and the shortcomings in basic outfitting. One final thing: the listing really should disclose the number of stairs and that the entry from street level is a narrow spiral staircase. This home would not be accessible by anyone with a mobility limitation. As it was, it was very difficult to get our ice chest and luggage up into the unit from the ground level. The spiral staircase from the living room level to the loft would not be at all safe for small children or navigable by older adults. This just needs to be disclosed.
