  • The owners thought of everything

"Good location and comfortable living. The Owner Alan set the place up nicely. Everything we needed could be found. Games, books, movies, cooking tools and supplies. The back view to the golf course and trees present a nice setting either early morning or late afternoon. Property is 1 mile from Raley's Market and several restaurants. We look forward to a return visit"

  • Good fit for our group of 12

"Came with 2 other families for a long weekend of snow and skiing with the kids at nearby Diamond Peak resort. Total 6 adults + 6 kids in our group (all ages 3 - 6yo), and the house was about the perfect size. PROs - The house is in good condition and comfortable. The owner had set up additional toddler beds in the parents' bedrooms as offered, which worked out well. The main living room is a good size and comfortable, and the huge dining table got good use. The kids loved playing in the snow on the deck. Owners had also cleared a usable path to the hot tub despite the massive amounts of snow outside, which was appreciated and used. Location was great for us - loved the tree-lined surroundings and literally just a couple of minutes' drive from the base of the Diamond Peak resort. CONs - Kitchen was ever so slightly on the small side for our busy group of 12. Wasn't a big deal, just got a bit crowded at times. Similarly, the garage was a tight squeeze for our 3 cars (not helped by the massive amounts of snow restricting the approach to one of the entrances) - again not a major problem, just had to work a bit harder to get everyone's vehicle safely in and out each night / morning. OTHER - Very detail oriented owner (which is generally a good thing and understandable, but the volume of information and instructions to digest was a bit intimidating at times). Overall a good deal for the location and size. Would definitely come back here again."

  • Our Family is from the islands of Oahu, Maui and The Big Island Hawaii.

"Our family took a skiing & snowboarding trip to Incline Village and stayed at Mikel's property which we loved because it felt like home. The accommodations were perfect and the home is well taken care of, and with everything you need to survive the snow in comfort was at the property. I highly recommend this property for your vacation to Lake Tahoe whether it be in the winter or summer the property is well equipped for fun and a pleasant vacation. We appreciate Mikel and his family for allowing us to stay at their home. Mahalo for accommodating me and my Ohana. Aloha Janie Quinn"

  • great family vacation rental

"This was the first time we skied in Tahoe. This condo was great, lots of space and great for the kids as they were all upstairs! The kitchen was totally stocked with every utensil/plate/pot/pan you could possible need. Lots of great restaurants within 5 minutes or less of the condo and The Hyatt with bars, gambling, restaurants 5 mins away. Michelle was a dream to deal with, very friendly and very helpful. Diamond ski area about 10 mins away and we skied North Star also which was a little further. Nice having a washer/dryer with skiing and kids and wifi!! Would rent again, thanks Michelle :)"
