Our stay was wonderful! The house was really nice. Downstairs bedroom door does not shut close and at night it’s hot in the downstairs bedroom. The ceiling fans stay at 1 speed downstairs. But overall it was a great property/location. A lot of room and space.

There was a pretty severe water leak in the ceiling of our bedroom that was taken care of right away. The rental property staff gets five stars overall and are a blessing to work with. We cannot wait to come back and stay in the fall for a couple months! The home was clean, perfectly located and in a quiet neighborhood.

Great Port A trip

We've stayed at a handful of managed properties in Port A, and this is one of the best. My only wishes would be a pooper scooper, and salt and pepper.

Amazing vaca spot!

Hoyse was clean and ready to go earlier than advertised. Great home for large families or multiple families to utilize. Would def stay here again!

Multi-family vacation

This property worked great for our 3 families.....1 couple, family of 3 (toddler) and family of 4 (2 kids, 8 & 11). Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, layout and space to hang-out together.Our only issue was the outside trash cans were already full upon our arrival making it hard for us to dispose of our trash.

Clean house, pet friendly and good location

The house was clean, pet friendly and check in and out was easy. The layout of the rooms and space allows for privacy when needed, but also had a great front room and dining situation for families to spend time together. One of the garages was available to store your beach equipment and the extra fridge was a nice bonus. We enjoyed our stay!

Annual Port A Family Trip

The property was just as described in the listing. Lots of space for our group of 8. Clean and very close to the beach. We enjoyed our time at the beach and in the evenings when we all shared food, drinks and games. Overall I would stay at this property again.

Family Vacation 2024

We take our children and their children for a family vacation q year. There was plenty of room for everyone, it’s close to the Beach and in a wonderful neighborhood. We were definitely not disappointed. Our only issue was the backyard was full of Fire ants, nothing a trip to Ace Hardware couldn’t fix! We will definitely stay again

Quick Family Trip

We had a wonderful stay! Short trip to Port A but it was so worth it. This place had everything we needed and it’s the perfect location. The bottom bedroom was a little bit hot, but the upstairs was nice and cool. Really enjoyed the top deck and the yard was perfect for our dogs. Second time we rented this house and will do it again.

Nice house - enjoyed our visit

The photos make the house look a bit nicer than it is. Nothing dramatic, but the carpet on the stairs had a lot of stains, and the backyard is weeds and stickers - so it wasn't useable at all for our dog. The front door glass doesn't have blinds, so that felt odd at night. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and we had plenty of space to cook / eat / hang out in the upstairs living area.

Good but could be better

We arrived July 4th and noticed the electricity in the downstairs master bedroom did not work. Call management and was told they would need to send out an electrician and due to holiday it would not be today. Only one AC for 2 story house, downstairs never cooled off. Yard had not been mowed and was full of stickers (not good for dogs). No broom in the house so no way to sweep up the sand. The kitchen was well stocked. NO WiFi or Phone Service at all inside of the house. I called and spoke to the maint man and he said he wouls have to send out a tech to check the problem.....never heard another word about it.

Decent House, Bad Experience

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a great size, but only minimally stocked with kitchen utensils, etc., for a house that is supposed to accommodate 16. One bathroom was non-functional and the whole house had an indoor ant problem. All of those problems were manageable, but when I checked out and tried to explain the issues, the rep for Port A Escapes wouldn’t let me get a whole sentence out without cutting me off to contradict me. I tried to explain that I wasn’t seeking a refund, just giving info, but she continued to respond rudely. She kept saying I should have called them to fix everything during my visit, but who wants to drive all day and then spend the evening with maintenance in a home at this price point? I’ll never use this rental company again, which is sad because after two years, we were comfortable with them.
