Perfect location for groups!

Stayed at Calypso bay villa during the SKB music fest. Perfect location/amenities. Alum assisted us throughout our stay and ensured we had everything we needed. Definitely will recommend booking this property/ returning again.

"Great Rental Property on St. Kitts"

My wife and I spent 5 days in this lovely villa and enjoyed all activities. The villa is located in a great place on the island and close to most things we wanted to visit. The unit was clean, ready for us on the day of the arrival and had all conveniences of home. Grea tvalue for the money and very "cheery" in all aspects. Gale and Georgia Zeiler

Well Appointed

The house is very well appointed and has everything you will need. However, the write up mentions a sofa bed or futon to sleep five and there was not one of those. The neighborhood is very safe and the pool area is nice and clean with amazing views. I would stay here again.

Clean, spacious in relaxing environment

Villa J was just the space we needed for our family of 4. It was clean and decorated to make us feel at home in the Caribbean. The kitchen was stocked with the equipment we needed to cook all of our meals. We spent time on the veranda enjoying the breeze and being kept dry when the occasional brief shower came through. The location was also close enough to visit the beach or Basseterre. It was quiet and secluded.

A Great Place to Relax in the Sun

A very quiet and relaxing villa for my wife and I. Everything was perfect! Neat and tidy. This villa has plenty of air conditioning and fans or simply using the ocean breeze was nice. Lay down on one of the upstairs bedroom balconies and get some sun or enjoy a meal on the front porch. You have it all right here. There is a full kitchen with all the standards (toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dish washer) even though we drove to one of many nearby restaurants for dinner. There is a nearby Casino to assist you with not having to carry all your vacation cash home. We have traveled to almost all the Caribbean islands and have found the people here to be the best. We can't wait to be visiting this one again.

Quiet breezes just minutes from Island activities

A fabulous 3-week visit to Villa J that was over the top relaxing! The location couldn’t be more central. Five minutes from a choice of first class restaurants or beach pubs with local charm. Ten minutes from Basseterre, the main shopping area for the island. Beaches are five minutes away if that is what you seek. But if you’re looking for quiet and relaxation, the private infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean can’t be beat (most of the time we had the pool all to ourselves). During our stay we prepared many of our own meals and Villa J had everything we needed to enjoy a tasty meal. The front porch was a great place to relax and read a book or enjoy a meal outside. The home is situated just a short walk to the Caribbean so there is always a constant breeze blowing – which meant we really didn’t use the A/C often. Being an Amateur Radio Operator, my husband really enjoyed using the radio equipment making many contacts around the world. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring and meeting the wonderful people of St Kitts. Everything about Villa J was exceptional!

Well . location of villa is great and access to the local area was very good. however when we arrived we were sent the details of how to enter but they were out of date, tried to phone the owner who did not answer or reply ( even thou we were there for 3 weeks) if it was not for a neighbor walking by who had the contact number we would not have access to the villa. you are offered the use of the communal pool and wash room but they are 2 separate keys and you only have the gate key. We asked after 2 days for a key , guest what no key even after we left. The villa , once we were in and went to do a little shopping , we opened the fridge to find stains spills and a mess. We had to clean it out before we used it and the same for the cupboards in the kitchen. After doing those things it was a good stay. Hopefully the owner will read and take note. Nice villa apart from those issues.

Perfect "home base" for St. Kitts vacation

Villa J has everything you need to enjoy the island breezes, scenic view and top notch amenities while you are visiting St. Kitts. It is located centrally between Frigate Bay and Basseterre within an easy 5 minute drive to beaches, restaurants and the Marriott Casino Resort. Each upstairs bedroom suite has its own balcony where you can see the ocean through the palm trees. The living room, kitchen and breakfast room downstairs make for extremely comfortable lodging and you can go out on the open porch to enjoy the sunshine with your morning coffee. If you get lucky you might see a passing monkey or mongoose strolling through the yard. The Villa has three air conditioners and several ceiling fans to keep you cool if island breezes are not to your liking. My wife particularly enjoyed the private neighborhood infinity pool overlooking the ocean from its 100 foot height. The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast food and basic staples but we enjoyed exploring the wide variety of nearby restaurants which included local lobster, Italian, Chinese, Caribbean and international cuisine. If you get a chance to make the 20 minute trip up the Atlantic coast to Ottley's Plantation for a fine dining evening, it is just up the road from the Villa and you won't be disappointed in the food or the fantastic view. If you happen to be a radio enthusiast, the Villa's owner can arrange for you to use his efficiently hidden antenna to communicate throughout the world due to the exceptional radio conditions found in St. Kitts. I can't wait until we can go back again!

Great place to stay

As the previous reviewer stated this Villa is in an excellent location with all the amenities, I could hardly say it better We started our vacation by arriving late at night so we took a taxi to the Villa and the next morning we were picked up by Bullseye Auto Rental to pick us up the next morning. Winston (Bullseye Owner) was exactly on time and took us to his lot only minutes away and quickly we had our Jeep. DO rent a car as you are not at a hotel and you have to arrange for taxis this takes time and with a car, you can go as you please. It only took one small trip to get use to driving on the left! Easy! The Villa As the other review said and detailed this villa is great! Close to the infinity, pool which is almost like having your own private pool. When we went there in all of 6 days, we only saw another couple once! The villa is located on the south side of town, which, in my opinion is the nicest part of the island. The south side has the best beaches, beach bars and restaurants. As stated it is a two bedroom (both have there one bath and a ½ bath downstairs). Both also have their own verandas to step out, see, and hear the ocean. It’s not a clear view of the ocean (though the palm trees), but you can see it and hear it. The three AC units keep you cool as needed and as the previous reviewer stated all the amenities are there. The Wireless is great as you can set your cellphone to not “Roam” and really reduce data charges! You also get to see the monkeys from your front porch. This place is like being at home –comfort, security, full ability (if you want to) to cook; wash/dry your clothes etc. We went to many restaurants. So the best in our opinion (but not cheap) was Ottleys and Marshalls (Marshalls is just up the street from the Villa). Also for a nice lunch, downtown go to Palm Court Gardens it is a great peaceful place (open from 11-5 lunch only). Of course, you have to hit the beach bars as well and they all are only minutes away! Enjoy your trip
