Close to everything Mentone has to offer from waterfalls to hiking, Mountain Music is the prefect romantic getaway or relaxing space for a weekend with the girls or homebase for your family trip!

Spend the evenings relaxing on the huge screened-in porch around a warm fire pit while watching the deer graze in the yard.

A spacious 4 person hot tub is the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking the many trails around Mentone. Located under a pavilion looking out over our wooded lot, deer can be seen most days grazing while you soak!

Quiet, secluded yet very close to downtown, make Mountain Music your home away from home!

We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and well equipped. Nice back porch and hot tub! Perfect for a weekend of relaxation.We were staying around Christmas and the propane tank had a delivery mix up. The host was easy to communicate and quick to respond. We replaced the tank and were reimbursed even more than our cost. Would book and use this property again

We truly enjoyed our stay! The location was awesome, loved being away from neighbors and enjoying sitting on the covered porch with the propane fire. Everything else was as advertised and the directions/communication from the host were perfect.If I come back in this area, I would definitely book it again.

This was a clean, beautiful, cozy cabin! Nestled in the woods, perfect for fireflies and crickets singing in the evening. The back porch is heavenly where you can enjoy a movie, sit fireside, or beneath low lighting to just be still for a bit. Having laundry capabilities on site is always a big help. We had everything needed for a positive, memoriable stay in the mountains. Will stay again!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. I like to sleep late and the drapery was perfect for keeping out the morning sun. I enjoyed walking the grounds. They have nicely landscaped the property while keeping the natural beauty of it all. Communication with the owner, while wasn’t needed a lot, was very prompt and helpful. I plan to return in the future.

Get away from it all but not too far.

The Mentone area is charming and so was our relaxing stay at Mountain Music cottage. Less than 5 minutes from the fall shown in all the Mentone pics.

Our stay was wonderful and the host communicated with us very fast we had a issue with the air conditioner and she had someone out that night to fix it for us! The back patio was very relaxing! Will definitely be back!!

Cabin is nice and clean. Couch is very comfortable. The main bedroom mattress is very old and uncomfortable. Springs in mattress poke. Kitchen is adequate space and nice however pots and pans are not. Brings your on if you want to cook. The largest pan or pot is maybe 8 inches. Very very cheap. No tools for outdoor grill provided. The host communicates well and check in is very easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably would not rent again.

Quiet, Relaxing

Awesome little cabin. Was actually bigger than I expected. The back porch was peaceful and being screened in was almost bug free, didn't really have to mess with mosquitoes. Had a wonderful time. A hot tub would definitely be a plus but will not be a deterrent in staying again. Cathleen is a great host and thank you for letting us stay.

Mountain Music

The cabin was very nice for a family of 4. Very quiet area. The only complaint I have is the driveway was hard to get in and out of with a large truck. The owner sends very detailed information and instructions. We enjoyed the fire pit on the screened in back porch. The cabin is very close to Desoto State Park. We had a very enjoyable stay overall.

Mountain Music has everything our family loves, a quiet place to relax and unwind but still close to all the activities we love on Lookout Mountain. DeSoto Falls, Cloudmont Ski Resort and Shady Grove Dude Ranch are all less than a mile away from our cabin and the quaint town of Mentone is less than 5 miles away.

All the hiking trail at DeSoto State Park are less than 10 minutes away from Mountain Music, making our cabin the perfect location for a getaway!

What makes this property unique

A large screened-in back porch with ample seating provides perfect views of the wildlife often found grazing in the yard around Mountain Music. It's our favorite place to be!
