Welcome to Seaside at Grande Bay Resort! Located on beautiful St. John, also known as the jewel of the U.S. Virgin Islands. St. John is a volcanic island offering white sand beaches, turquoise waters, mountain vistas and historical ruins. The Virgin Islands National Park encompasses over half of the island's nineteen square miles. Surrounded by coral reefs and seagrass beds, St. John offers excellent snorkeling from shore as well as diving excursions. If you prefer to hike, there are over twenty maintained hiking trails for your enjoyment.

Your home away from home at Grande Bay is located WATERFRONT and offers an unobstructed view of Cruz Bay Harbor. Enjoy breakfast or dinner on the balcony while listening to the waves lapping the shoreline. For you convenience, our condo can be reserved as a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen and two bathrooms, a one bedroom unit with a full kitchen and one bathroom or as a studio unit with a kitchenette and full bathroom. We offer three private balconies to enjoy the outdoors and also a shared pool deck with swimming pool and hot tub. The resort also offers a spacious exercise room with new equipment (even a Pilates machine!) that offers ocean views. Grande Bay is staffed 24 hours a day to answer any questions you may have or assist with your vacation.

Having the convenient location of being right in Cruz Bay allows you to walk to shops, restaurants, bars and even some beaches at your leisure. We also provide a reserved parking space in our covered and secure garage if you prefer to rent a vehicle. The parking space is reserved for the one bedroom suite or when the entire two bedroom suite is rented. It is not available for the studio suite.

We have been visitors to St. John since our first trip in February of 2002. Since that visit, we have been back at least once a year and have shared the island with our children, friends and family members. We know that we are blessed to be able to realize our dream of owning property on St. John. We feel that we have found our place in paradise and we love sharing it with others.

For us, the perfect day includes making breakfast, heading to a beach or two then coming home to clean up and head out to enjoy dinner. Grande Bay provides us with all the amenities of home with a full kitchen, large showers, comfortable furnishings and an easy walk to the perfect restaurant or bar. We know that you will love it as much as we do!

What makes this condo unique

When we have the opportunity to stay at Grande Bay, we enjoy having breakfast on the balcony while listening to the waves and watching Cruz Bay come to life. We love taking the beach chairs and coolers to a different beach each day and snorkeling or hiking up to Ram Head or along another amazing trail. We enjoy all the comforts of home along with staff that will assist us or answer any questions we might have. If we decide to forgo the beach, we have the option of relaxing on the pool deck and enjoying the pool and hot tub. We especially like parking our rental car and walking into town less than 100 yards for a delicious meal or island drink.

The condo was amazing -- very clean, nicely decorated, perfectly situated. The location was ideal -- beautiful view of the water and an easy walk anywhere in Cruz Bay. I highly recommend it!!! No issues whatsoever.

Great Visit!

About everything is perfect, the location, cleanliness, having a big kitchen, and washer/dryer. The view is great and being able to walk to Cruz Bay is very nice.

We found ourselves not using the Jeep we rented due to the great location. Tracy is great to work with as well and was super helpful and understanding of pre arrival issues.

Very Happy and plan to rent again when we return.

1st visit, but will not be the last!

A fantastic condo on a great island. Not sure what we can say about this place, that hasn't already been said.The location is perfect, just steps from the ferry dock and from bars and restaurants. We rented a jeep for only a few days, it was great to have an assigned parking spot. Tracy was great to work with. She also gave us tips and advice since we had not been to St John before. There was also a book of menus inside the unit, which helped us decide on where to have dinner. The condo was beautiful, loved sitting on the balcony eating breakfast each morning watching the boats in the harbor get ready for the day. It was so nice to have beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs provided. Would not hesitate to recommend . Really looking forward to when we can visit again!

WHAT A GREAT LOCATION! Few steps away from great restaurants and bars. Condo had all the amenities we were expecting even beach chairs and cooler. Great to have parking space for our rented car. Kitchen was well equipped and furnishings are just right. Very comfortable. Tracey, the owner, was more than helpful in helping us make our reservation. Will definitely rent this condo in the future. We were met at the condo by property manager who was pleasant and helpful. Great experience all around!!!

Fabulous condo on an amazing island!

We are thrilled with this condo and in awe that a place like St. John still exists. A year ago, I was looking for a fun and romantic spot to spend our 25th wedding anniversary. My thrill seeking husband wanted something with adventure and I wanted to be relaxed, comfortable (with a little adventure too). We found the perfect spot. Tracy was so fun and helpful with all of my questions and planning (about the condo and the island) and Rachelle the property manager was as nice as can be. The Villa managers called me ahead of time and helped me reserve the dinghy and my snorkel gear. Our favorite things were 1) renting a dinghy and snorkeling at Waterlemon Cay and Trunk Bay 2) Driving to Lamshure and snorkeling, then to Salt Pond to hike the Ram Head trail, then snorkeling Salt Pond and eating burgers at Skinny Legs. 3) Dinner at Zozo's was unbelievably good and the view and the donkeys walking around…incredible! It is great that the National Park keeps up the roads and beaches so well. It is a VERY special island. This condo is in the perfect location and will not disappoint. Thank you Tracy!

Girls trip 2015

Beautiful property! This is my second stay with these owners, and they do not disappoint. The room is clean, beds comfortable. It's great to have laundry available in the room. The parking is convenient to get to the room. A short walk to shopping, dining, local beach bars hosting local bands. So many beaches to see and so little time! Close walk to go on excursions of sailing, scuba, snorkelling, or just day trips. Highly recommend this place. I hope to get back very soon!

Grande Bay is located directly next door to Low Key Water Sports offering a full dive/snorkel shop. Walking distance to Cruz Bay which includes shopping, bars, restaurants, taxis.

Cleaning Fee $150
Damage Deposit $250

We require a signed contract along with a deposit of 50% of the total balance to reserve our suite. Our contract supersedes all other requirements as noted on VRBO.

Cleaning fees apply to stays of less than seven nights. The current VI Hotel tax is 12.5%. Posted rates are based on two (2) guests in our one bedroom suite. A maximum of two (2) additional guests, for four (4) total, allowed at an extra rate of $25 per person per night plus tax.
