Aptly named for its spectacular star-filled skies, Starry Nights Camp offers a peaceful, authentic glimpse of Maine's quiet beauty. Here on the shore of North Pond in Smithfield, you'll have your very own sandy beach, and all the time in the world to fish for white perch, chain pickerel, and smallmouth and largemouth bass.
This waterfront home sits near the end of its lane on the lake's south shore, with sweeping, northwest-facing views that are particularly special at sunset. The gorgeous setting is on display at every turn, both outside among the trees and inside through picture windows that span the width of the house.
The interior is full of classic cabin atmosphere, from the wood paneling adorning the walls and ceilings to the decor and textiles inspired by the outdoors. There's ample space to gather and relax, including a living room with leather sofas, a family room with a TV, and a lakefront sunroom where you can dine as a family or escape with a good book. On summer days, sear your fresh catch on the gas grill outside. Come winter, cozy up with a favorite movie as the day's clothes spin in the washer/dryer.

luis, thank you for sharing your experience with us, we are glad you enjoyed our lovely home. We hope to host you for another great vacation in the future.
The property is beautiful and spacious inside. Ot was clean, well taken care of, and had everything we needed. It is located on a large pond with private dock. We fished, kayaked, swam in and explored the pond. The sunsets there are magical. We had a great time.

Beautiful quiet location
We had a great stay. The home was in a quiet neighborhood. The host was a large company not local and getting help was not easy. Right on water but after swimming we were told was not recommended that would have been nice to know. There is no information available other then the listing.

This cabin was perfect. The views out onto North Pond were mesmerizing. I could have sat there all day on the futon looking out the window. The neighbors were super quiet and the drive to and from Waterville were scenic and easy. The Sunoco down the road with the well stocked grocery store made stocking up for the weekend super easy too. The fact that there was a washer and dryer with detergent was a lifesaver since one of my sons slept in late the morning we left and packed all dirty clothes for the trip. We even tried to fish a little with the rods by the front door. We hope to be staying here again next year and will come better prepared for some real fishing.
This is our second time staying here. We were super sad to see the cabin was for sale since there’s a good possibility new owners may not use it as a rental. Our son goes to Colby and we fell in love with this cabin and decided there was no need to look for another for the next 3 years of his schooling if we didn’t need to. I guess we will wait to see. Our only gripe is that the speakers on the TV are blown so we had to turn the sound down to avoid the rumbling drowning out everything. We were binging Game of Throwns so not a huge deal since it’s hard to understand what everyone is saying anyway and it’s easier to follow with the closed captions on. But if you have something special you are in to maybe bring your own speaker to plug in. We were a bit sad that the dock had been pulled out of the water too. We really enjoyed wandering out further and fishing off the dock last time. Otherwise, it was perfect and a little slice of heaven that we will continue to go back to if it is available.
