Purchased by Jeff Gillson in 2020, it now offers 7 exquisite bedrooms with scenic views, aiming to be a prime Bed & Breakfast and event venue. Located near Cleveland, Columbus, Akron, and Canton, it provides easy access and great fly-fishing spots, making it an ideal getaway for both personal relaxation and group events.

The host left all the Christmas decorations up so we could have a late extended family Christmas. The coffee and tea were pre-stocked, and there was food in the refrigerator, just in case we needed some starter items. The grandkids especially enjoyed the sweet treats left on the island. The hot tub and sauna or put to use by the adults after sledding on the hillside next door. The coffee maker was not only a drip, but also a K cup, which worked out great for all of the different types of drinks people wanted. There is plenty of space in the basement for the grandkids to spread out. Great host.

We had several families come together for Thanksgiving, This lodge worked out amazing for our families. Owners are very responsive to questions. If you are in the area and need a great place for a family get together this is your place, hopefully we will see you next year!!

We surprised our mom with a stay here for her 80th birthday. A group of 14, age 3 to 80. The house was very clean, well stocked, beautiful setting, and great amenities. Our granddaughter enjoyed the many toys, books and games supplied. The older kids appreciated the hot tub and sauna. There was plenty of room for everyone. The coffee bar and snacks were fantastic! We enjoyed our stay!

The house was beautiful! Very clean and had its own privacy. The host had complimentary snacks and coffee which was such a nice touch! The house provided plenty of room for our large group! The host was very attentive in messages and was willing to accommodate any requests we had. We had a wonderful stay!

A gem within the lodge community

This lodge is beautiful. Our arrival went smoothly and the property manager was very helpful. The number of rooms available worked well for our family , ages 7 to 66. We will come back. Thank you for your hospitality.

We cannot say enough amazing things about the property and the host! The house amenities and set up along with decor and items available for use including bathroom and kitchen necessities was on point!!! Mohican Annual Friends Weekend

This property was outstanding period very spacious, clean and amenities galore. 12 friends stayed the weekend and never left the property. We enjoyed everyone, single or couple having own bedroom, plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen, relaxing in the living room, hot tub and sauna and playing games. We were all pleasantly surprised with everything. All enjoyed our getaway and never once turned on the tv. We would definitely recommend.

Great Time at a Great Property

We had 17 people in town for a birthday party with friends and family. The property was a great fit for us, affording us a lot of room to gather and some separate areas for more quiet conversations. The property is everything it is billed to be, along with being well-stocked.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to have an elder retreat with 8 elders from our church. The host was incredibly gracious and kind with helping facilitate. The space was perfect…everyone had their own bedroom, the kitchen was well stocked for group meals, and there was a ton to do for team building and fellowship. We will be back every year!

Wonderful clean home with plenty of space and rooms. Perfect for a large family or work retreat. Our group from work enjoyed this home which was a very nice place to unwind and connect. Fantastic location to get away. We’d be interested in booking again next year.

beautiful clean home with lots of amenities

This home is beautiful and well maintained! Our extedned family enjoyed all of the indoor space and the lovely grounds it sits on. Lots of common space and each of the bedrooms is well-appointed. The master suite is large with a spa-like bathroom and extra large walk-in closet. The other bedrooms are well thought out with lights and tables near beds for reading. Highly recommend!

Love this house and this host!

Came to hike in the area. Fall colors are just coming in. House is very well appointed with evrything you need including sauna and Hot Tub. Had a minor appliance issue. Our host had it shored up in less than two hours!

It is an amazing property!! We couldn't believe all of the items that were there... Blankets, extra pillows, towels, bed linens, dishes, pots and pans, kitchen utensils. The views were spectacular! The owner of the property was awesome as well. Very easy to get in touch with and very responsive.

Cousins Retreat

The house and setting was a perfect location for our First Cousins Retreat. The number of bedrooms was perfect for our group and the rural setting provided the perfect relaxing backdrop for all of us to unplug. The communication and hospitality of the host was great as well!
