Guestbook comments from the manager

Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin. Our family enjoyed our stay. My daughter has been fighting leukemia for 2 years now. She's getting ready to go back into the hospital for a long stay. We wanted to show her a great time and we did!!! Thanks again. We hope to make it back someday.

Nice lakefront with a good view and decent kitchen setup.

  • 4 of 5

The canoe was a big plus with lifejackets available. Even though it was pretty smokey when we arrived from nearby wildfires the house had an air filter. We enjoyed our first day mostly inside with a beautiful view and then the smoke cleared by Saturday. The pull out couch bed was not as uncomfortable as I expected either. The other two beds were comfortable. There were some annoying bugs so a fly swatter would have been handy and a wasp trap for the porch. Not many around, but one person in our group had an allergy and they seemed to be trying to nest in the porch chairs. The kitchen and electric grill were a big hit. The dishes, pots and pans were all in great condition. The dining table and deck table were both large enough for big board game nights.

Awesome location, charming cabin

  • 5 of 5

We made last minute plans to take our three grandchildren to Lake Chelan. Traci and the cabin owners were very helpful and accommodating. I really appreciated the specific instructions and complete information we were given. We were so happy with this sweet cabin. We ate every meal on the deck, barbecuing each night and enjoying the beautiful views. The electric bar-b-q was so handy. The ferry ride to Stehekin was amazing...the most stunning scenery. Close access to Fields Point for pick-up was a big plus. The children loved canoeing, and having lifejackets provided along with beach towels was very thoughtful. Everything we needed was there- we just had to bring food! We bought fresh cherries on the way- yummy! The only meal we ate out was at Chelan's Local Myth Pizza- delicious!! I hope to return sometime, but it's a long way from Texas!

Nice cabin in a beautiful location

  • 4 of 5

The view of the mountains and lake was wonderful. The cabin has great views from the windows and a great deck to enjoy the weather and scenery. The area was very quiet when we stayed and we appreciated it. The cabin was very clean and mostly well equipped. I did not give it 5 stars because other than the sliding doors to the deck NONE of the windows open and the bedrooms were extremely stuffy at night. The sliding doors had no screen so unless we wanted a house full of bugs and flies we could not enjoy any fresh air flow during the day or at night. It made it very difficult to sleep. A house in the summer needs air flow. Air conditioning and fans are just not the same. We managed to have a very nice time despite our lack of rest.

Owner's Response: We agree, the views and scenery are great at this cabin! We are working to get a screen door for the slider (not sure what happened to the old one). Most of the windows do open, but we are in the process of looking at how we can add screens to them as well and hope to have it resolved very soon. Hope you have a great rest of the summer!

Terrific stay

  • 5 of 5

All 5 of us had a great time at Fields Point Cabin. The highlight was our trip to Stehekin on Lady Express uplake and Lady of the Lake II downlake. The Slidewaters water park was a hit with the kids and certainly a highlight too.

The cabin was wonderful and had everything. We loved barbecuing on the deck in the evenings! Did I mention Stehekin? The cabin is a 5-minute drive from the dock at Fields Point, which cuts 30-40 minutes from the ferry ride there.

Owner's Response: You're right, this cabin is a great jumping off point for uplake trips to Stehekin. So glad you had a great time at the cabin and being on the large deck. We hope to have your group come again!

Cozy cabin, great waterfront

  • 5 of 5

Great cabin! We jumped right from the front yard into the water to go swimming. Moored the boat right in front of the house and had a great time. It's a great place to stay for families.
