Thank you Clarence, everything is hard to accomplish!
This is by far the nicest and cleanest VRBO we have rented in HSV. It is well equipped with supplies, kitchen items and a nice private setting on the golf course. We stayed 8 nights and didn’t want to leave. Thank you!
We greatly enjoyed our time in this cozy place! Thank you to our host, who took care of an AC issue before we arrived, so that our stay was cool and comfortable. Thank you!
We had a family trip to hot springs for the weekend. This house is in a very good location. Close to town and only 25 minutes from magic springs. We really enjoyed all the amneties of the house and the enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be booking again for hot springs trip.
We stayed because my son was getting married and wanted to do the rehearsal dinner in a home environment. The place was perfect with more than enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy visiting with each other. 100% would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxed environment.
The house is very accomodating and well stocked with paper goods and Keurig coffee. The neighborhood is very quiet. We stayed for a month, wanting to get a good feel for the Village, and we were very comfortable. There was little communication with the owner. The lower floorn with one bedroom and sitting room seemed a bit musty to me.
This was a very welcoming property. Beautiful views of the golf coarse, and a small creek running through the back yard. Pleanty of cookwear,dishes.. everything you need. Will be on the list for renting again next yeat for the derby.

Perfect location for family vacation and few rounds of golf. Kids loved making smores, teenagers loved being on the internet, women loved chatting on the porch while men golfed, the whole family and friends loved playing games at night. Best part, the dog loved everything thing around the property exploring.
Good food in downtown and many trails to explore.
Very nice house. The only thing I wished it had was a TV in the other bedroom on the top floor. The location was quiet. We enjoyed our stay and we would stay there again if ever in the area.
Could not have been more comfortable,......large screened porch to avoid mosquitoes and sit protected during thunderstorms. My only negative comment is that this time of year all windows should be open for natural airflow. The lower bedroom could use a screen for sliding door.
We loved everything about this house. My only issue at all was that the way the beds were listed was not correct. The 2 additional beds that were listed as full were (1) futon and the other was just a couch that reclines, which is not a bed and is misleading. So the house has 2 King beds and 1 Queen, and 1 futon. FYI. Otherwise it was a well-stocked, easy check-in, in a pretty neighborhood. We loved the screened-in porch and little creek in the back. I would for sure stay again.
We love this house. We stayed twice last year (previous owner). So much to like about this place such as location Close to the grocery store and places to eat. The house has everything for your comfort…shampoo to laundry detergent, pizza cutter to Kleenex. The beds are comfortable and the ac is cold.
We recommend using the nice outdoor pool at Desoto and we also enjoy eating at the Desoto Club.
This house used to have cable tv which we are used to but now they have streaming tv’s. Not our favorite but we will stay here again and learn to stream.
Wonderful host - great communication.

My family and I traveled from south Louisiana to witness the solar eclipse in the path of totality. We were so blessed to find this home a few weeks before the event.
The home was exactly as pictured. It is a beautiful split level home with plenty of room for everyone. The back porch was our favorite spot!! The home was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. There were plenty of towels and the water pressure is fantastic! The neighborhood is quiet. The check in and out process was easy peasy. Bill was very communicative and easily reachable.
I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone! If our family ever ventures to the area again, we will definitely see if this property is available.

What a wonderful review, the screened porch is our favorite as well!
Pros:great location. Room for 4 adults. Very stocked, all the way from a toothbrush to adult diapers, lol. Lots of TP, body wash, and Kleenex.Clean upon arrival.Cons:No bathroom on the main floor. One upstairs and one downstairs. Thermostat located downstairs and not accurately working for the upstairs where the bedrooms are. We had to put the thermostat really low in order to cool the bedroom. The bedroom downstairs had a very hard bed and that's about all. The enclosed porch we were really looking forward to was accessible only by going downstairs and through a second living room. Not convenient.Worst thing was pet dander. I believe it was cat. Our eyes watered and we sneezed the whole time. My wife actually washed and dried the throws in the living room as they got her dark pants covered with hair. Taught me not to reserve a place that allows pets in the future.
Great house, like "a grandparents house", the host (William) is always on line for communication (I thought, I work long hours) ...The entire house was amazing and over stacked with supplies to make our stay more comfortable.. I loved the large TVs in all the rooms and a game room down stairs with recliner chair (mans room) to get away and it has a perfect TV (thank you, it was perfect for my work on laptop).... Its a great house also for your small pet but take note, this house and most in the area have rocks for their yards...If you have a small dog, you need to carry it down below to the wild grass (its not an issue!) and the dog loved it near the golf greens...We can't wait to come back to this house...

About the host

This is to be our winter retreat, the previous owner has created a charming comfortable and thoughtful home for all to enjoy and we look forward to many warmish winter months of enjoyment. We look forward to sharing this delightful property and all it has to offer with our many new guests.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood although very close to the surrounding amenities, stores and shops, is very quiet. It is also very pretty with small characterful homes on a hilly winding street. This community the entire 26,000 acres is basically a park with homes in it and I think this is one of the nicest settings. Very walkable and close to a nice 3 mile walking path, a favorite of ours.
What makes this property unique
This home won't be for everyone, if you are challenged by steps be aware that this is a split level home and there are steps to all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Beyond that the house is delightful, it is on a charming picturesque street. It backs up to a golf course facing west for sunset views, it has a pretty little brook that runs along the bottom of the backyard that is inviting to birds and wildlife. And there are cool rocks in the front yard and a low maintenance mossy yard! The house sits farther back than the neighboring houses so it has extra privacy and if that's not enough there is a firepit high in back with views too!
